"De kamer was ruim, proper en het bed was heel groot en lag goed! De airco werkte ook goed. Het ontbijt was ook lekker! Het lag heel dichtbij het strand en de bus stopt eigenlijk in heel de straat in las Peñitas dus dat is ook handig, maar als je echt op de ideale locatie wil liggen moet je nog ongeveer een 700m doorlopen naar de leukste beachbars en restaurantjes."

"Prima verblijf, niet aan het strand maar slechts 1 minuut lopen. Ziet er leuk uit met de hangmatten. Kamer is basic maar groot, airco en schoon. Erg goede prijs kwaliteit. Fietsen gratis te lenen."

"Beautiful terrace for relaxing and quiet location - only 10-15 mins walk for activities/food in the evenings. Breakfast was great and the house-keeper Ana was lovely and helpful - she keeps a clean ship! The plunge pool and air con were a welcome relief from the heat and mozzies. Would suggest stocking up on fresh fruit/veg/supplies to make use of the kitchen facilities as the shops are very basic."

"The air con condenser is in the room which is intermittently noisy so we turned it off overnight. Pillows are thin and lumpy (we asked for an extra one), bed very firm."

"Would highly recommend staying here- our room was huge and very comfortable. The amenities were all great, and everything was kept very clean. The large porch was a lovely place to relax. The ladies working there were very lovely and cooked delicious breakfasts. Very good value for money"

"The only downside is that the hostel is in the middle of the beach, so is a 10-15 min walk from bars and restaurants. Would also suggest stocking up on food before coming as there is not much fresh produce in the tiendas"

"The location was great, easy acess to sea, no noisy neighbours. At night the sounds of local critters and birds. Especially loved hammocks and seating area next to the room. Appreciate actually being able to pay by card. Good breakfast, comfortable bed. Nice big room."

"Cold shower, as most places in Nicaragua. No blanket, just a thin sheet, also not unusual in tropical countries, but I find it difficult to sleep that way."

"The rooms were super clean and everything was organized. I appreciated the support of Irene I think was her name, very helpful and always available for us."

"I liked everything. The Pool was not as clean as I expected ( there were some bird poop on the bottom of it ) but I am sure that happened the same day we arrived, few hours before us arriving."

"I was the only person there and in the evenings felt a little creepy as no one around. Not sure where the hosts went as they didn’t speak a word of English, I only saw them the day I arrived and the day I left. Had a nice girl there during the day but not sure where everyone went at night. It’s down a very quite semi deserted street so just didn’t feel great for solo female. Also, couldn’t use poop while I was there as not clean. (I think all this because off peak (July)."

"Tapihouse is an exceptional place to stay. Its location, comfort, kitchen equipment, everything is great. but the best is the kind and helpful staff Katy and Enrique. We stayed here twice during our two months in Nicaragua. When we came back the second time, we were welcomed like family. We had a deluxe room with the biggest and most comfortable bed in our life. we recommend it to everyone!"
