"Wat een ontzettend lief stel, Nilam & Oshan, iedere dag hun uiterste best doen je het naar de zin te maken, dit hotel is een beetje gedateerd met wel een heerlijk bed en goede douche, je was nog niet de kamer uit of de kamer werd schoongemaakt, een dikke 10 voor Nilam & Oshan!"

Vies en smerig eiland, veel troep, alleen bikini beach wordt schoongehouden, in Gulhi zelf ligt overal troep,, er is ook helemaal niets te doen, zwaar islamitisch, je hebt alleen het strand en voor de rest helemaal niets, eten in de restaurants is een drama, veel hebben ze niet en als het er is dan wordt je direct aangevallen door tientallen vliegen, 2 weken lang vruchtensapjes en hetzelfde eten rijst, spaghetti, pizza, na het eten zat ik alweer op mijn hotelkamer, ik had hier veel meer van verwacht, was gewoon blij dat ik naar Sri Lanka mocht."

"Lovely guesthouse on a beautiful island. The staff were very friendly and helpful for all our questions, they organized our speedboat transfers to and from the airport as well. Bed was super comfy, the air con was great. You get beach towels, and daily bottled water. Breakfast served in their restaurant a short 1 minute walk away, and was delicious every day, with plenty of choice."

"The hosting staff is wonderfully friendly, the location of the property near 'bikini beach' is very good. The room is spacious and there is an individual outside seating area which overlooks the beach."

"Gulhi island currently is essentially a building site. This is of course nothing the host can do anything about. The island has been extended, there are new buildings going up or older ones being renovated. Across the bay a new island is being build and the ongoing noise of the building machinery can be heard all the way to the property. The property is tired and in need of an upgrade."
