Located in 17th and 19th century connected buildings, guests can choose between luxurious chandeliers, high ceilings, historical engravings, paintings and antique furniture in one part of the hotelstructuur and 300-year old wooden balks, sloping floors and lower ceilings in the other. Decorated in a boutique style, rooms feature air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, mini bar, safe and warm blankets. Bathrooms offer a hair dryer and bio cosmetics. Upper class rooms boast a coffee machine for guests and Luxury Suite has bathrobes and slippers. Freshly ground coffee and a wide breakfast buffet with local delicacies are served every morning in Boetiekhotel Gutenbergs. Accommodatie’s ontbijtzaal features a summer terrace above the rooftops of the Old Town and offers meals from seasonal and local products. "Goed ontbijt, ruime kamer, genoeg bergruimte in de kast voor mijn spullen. Hulpvaardig personeel. Ik kreeg een drankje (te gebruiken in het heerlijke restaurant met mooi uitzicht op de bovenste verdieping) omdat ik een dag geen housekeeping nodig had."

Op loopafstand leuke restaurants en bezienswaardigheden. Het hotel ligt in een straat met middeleeuwse keien klinkers. Dus trek goede schoenen aan. Vriendelijk personeel"

"Alles was goed! Locatie, top! 10min lopen van bus 22 ( luchthaven). Heerlijk bed, de kamer, ontbijt, panoramaterras en de prijs, we waren met alles erg tevreden. Ik vond het idee van drankje in ruil voor kamerschoon maken ook wel creatief. We sliepen er maar 2 nachten dus dat was te doen zonder schoonmaak."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
