"Je wandelt vanuit je kamer zo het strand op. Je kan daar in zee ook goed zwemmen. Mooie tuin met bloemen. Zwembad. Er is heerlijk naar onze wensen gekookt."

"Communicatie van het personeel was wat lastig. Het diner was echt niet goed, bijna de helft van de menukaart kon niet gemaakt worden en uiteindelijk kregen we iets voorgeschoteld wat we echt niet weg kregen. We kregen gelukkig wel wat anders, maar ook de communicatie ging moeizaam en verder zijn er weinig andere restaurants in de buurt die open waren. Er waren helaas maar vier lig bedden bij het zwembad."

"Laya Waves is in the most beautiful location. It’s right on a stunning beach. It’s a small hotel which has a lovely feel to it. The staff were friendly and helpful. They tried to teach us some Sri Lankan ! The views from the balcony are amazing. There’s lots of nice restaurants close by which did amazing seafood. Just turn right out of the hotel and keep walking. There’s an ATM nearby and a little mini market. We loved the street dogs that visited, especially Hopper who only had 3 working legs !"
"We didn’t have any complaints about the hotel- it was what we expected! The only things I would mention are the breakfast could be improved, the towels were very old and scruffy as was the cushions for the sun loungers. The bathroom looked like it had been partly updated except for the shower which really needed replacing. We did have hot water though!"

"Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. We ordered some meals for our dinner selecting from the alacarte menu. It was so delisious and portion also great that we didnt expect. Thanks to the cheff and all the supportive staff. I have no doubts in recomending the hotel for any body who wants to see pasikuda and around with great comforts."

"The location is stunning, swimming pool is huge and well maintained. Stunning view on the ocean. Not many tourists so you feel like you are on your own on a beautiful clean beach. Rooms were ok and big enough with great view. Food was good too and staff was very kind."
