Fort Bazaar is een boetiekhotel in de levendige wijk van Fort Galle. In de 16e eeuw was het een handelsnederzetting waar kooplieden verbleven. Het is gebouwd rond een eigen traditionele binnenplaats met het beroemde eetruimte Church Street Social, een bibliotheek en de ontspanningsruimte Z. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar in alle ruimtes en de slaapvertrekken zijn voorzien van gratis frisdranken in de kleine koelkast. Voor alle gasten van het etablissement wordt ochtendeten en high tea geserveerd. Zowel Fort Galle als de Groote Kerk liggen op 200 meter van de accommodatie.

"The property location is fabulous - right in the heart of the Fort. The rooms are newly renovated and excellent. There is even a lot of hot water and air conditioning actually was too cold when we arrived! The service was outstanding, and breakfast was good."
"It was NYC pricing. Our dinners over three days for three were over $3,000. The rooms were nice, but hot as nice as the price would dictate. The bathrooms were huge, but the rooms were not overly large. The pool was great but also not great for laps."
"All the staff were friendly and very attentive. The room was large and comfortable. The public areas were well decorated. The pool was fairly small but was a very peaceful and relaxing environment. They have a complimentary early morning tour around the fort with a knowledgeable guide. Also complimentary afternoon tea, and pre-dinner drink and snack. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend and would definitely stay again."

"De hutjes zijn super dichtbij yala np, waardoor er dus wel wat beestjes in je hut kunnen komen. Voor ons geen probleem. De eigenaar was supervriendelijk, hij doet alles om het naar je zin te maken!! En hij kookt zelf ook lekker sri lankaans eten! Aanrader!"

"Midden in de jungle werden we vriendelijk onthaald en verwend met een diner bij kaarslicht en kampvuur. Vroeg in de ochtend 5.00 uur stond de koffie klaar voordat we op safari gingen. Bij terugkomst een heerlijk ontbijt. En alles met een glimlach. Maak het mee, het is de moeite waard."
"Het is een fantastische plek midden in de natuur. De olifanten en buffels lopen letterlijk langs het verblijf. Prachtige sterrenhemel ‘s avonds. Je voelt je echt 1 met de natuur. Ik blijf er niet voor niets naar terug komen. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten. De privé safari met hun eigen jeep in Yala National Park was ook fantastisch. Ze kiezen hun eigen route in plaats van achter de meute aan te gaan. Hierdoor op de beer na alle diersoorten die in het park voorkomen gezien. De eigenaar is tevens freelance tourist driver en gids met een eigen busje. Daar meteen gebruik van gemaakt voor de rest van mijn verblijf in Sri Lanka."

"Makkelijk aan te rijden locatie dichtbij het Yale national park. Heerlijk rustig, leuk zwembad met vriendelijk personeel. Het eten dat voor ons bereidt werd was goed. De kamers zijn kaal, maar prima met een eigen badkamer en toilet. De bedden waren wel erg hard. Wij waren erg tevreden. Bedankt!"

They were able to seamlessly arrange our safari through Yala, where we saw elephants, water buffalo, monkeys, deer, and leopards. The food was absolutely incredible and the camping staff were great. This place definitely lived up to our expectations."
