"Ons verblijf in Palm View was in alle opzichten top! De accommodatie is top: de kamer is superschoon, met een comfortabel bed en een fijne, ruime douche. De geboden mogelijkheid van gebruik van keuken, terras en zitkamer in de avonduren vonden wij heel fijn. De ontvangst was top: eigenaar/gastvrouw Helen is zeer gastvrij en communicatief. De locatie is top: Palm View ligt vlakbij het strand en op wandelafstand van het kleine centrum van Laborie met enkele leuke restaurantjes en winkeltjes."

"As a genuine backpacker this stay was like in the good old days when it was quite normale to have contact with the owners of a guesthouse. As a bonus Helen had a great book about Bob Marley. Pity I couldn’t ready it all."

Beautiful clean house with all amenities, great location with walking distance to everything you need, big room, quiet beaches - if we knew we'd book a longer stay and won't hesitate to have Palm View as a base for exploring the whole South of St Lucia."

"We chose Laborie to start our tour of St Lucia as it was a short trip from the airport and we didn't want to travel too far after a long flight. What a great decision we made. Laborie is a working fishing village but with everything a tourist could need with places to eat, drink and buy basic groceries. The locals are amazingly friendly and helpful and we felt totally comfortable there. Palm view is a fantastic house to stay at.. Exceptional value for money. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. A 5 minute walk to a perfect beach. The owne,r Helen, couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating .She greeted us with cold beers and made us feel at home. She had loads of great advice and even helped organise our onward journey."

"Friendly lady, peaceful and quiet house with good energy, absolutely clean and good organized with everything you need. 5 min walk down to the quiet beach with a very friendly and welcoming people around.🫶"

"It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Our room was large with an overhead fan and big bathroom with a walk in shower. Everything is nicely decorated. Our hostess/landlord Helen was welcoming and warm and had cold local beers and water in the mini fridge in our room waiting for us. She graciously gave us our own time in the shared kitchen and living room. She gave us pointers on local places to go and eat, which was very helpful because many do not have signs and just look like someone’s home and taught us how to navigate the bus system to go to neighboring cities. There was a balcony with an ocean view to eat at and constant breezes …. so much better than air conditioning! Rudy John Beach was a 3minute walk away, very private, with warmest water and waves that can float you away. The people in the village are friendly and we didn’t encounter any panhandlers or people trying to sell you things like other beach towns."

"Absolutely amazing stay!  Helen made sure that we were comfortable the whole time and gave us a lot of tips and advice on how to get to different places on the island. The property itself is also very beautiful, very nicely located right next to the beach, and also very clean."
