"Het was een ruime kamer met kast en tafel en stoel. Dicht bij alles, verder was het prima in orde."

"In de badkamer kun je nergens iets kwijt , zelfs je zeepje rolt de wastafel in. Dat was wel vervelend."

"Een hele fijne plek in Don Det. De werknemers waren onwijs aardig en de locatie was perfect! Dichtbij het haventje waar de boot aankomt en veel leuke restaurantjes in de buurt. Geen airco, zoals vermeld op booking, maar dit was uiteindelijk prima te doen. ‘S avonds waait het best lekker door, dus dan kan je de ramen gewoon open zetten ;)"

"De badkamer is erg basic en af en toe mieren in de kamer omdat niet alles helemaal is dichtgetimmerd in de bungalow!"

"Ruime schone kamer, fijne locatie en vriendelijk personeel. Hadden een tweepersoonsbed en een enkel bed ondanks dat we met z'n tweeën waren."

"Very simple accomodation with a bedroom, bathroom and terrace ... actually all that you need on this beautiful place. Restaurants and bike/motorcycle rent companies are next to the accommodation on the road leading to the pier, so you can focus only on your rest and enjoyment. If you are staying longer and need to do a laundry - accommodation has this option as well. Don Det in general is quite a calm, easy going spot, with a couple of bars and restaurants, but no hard style party scene. You come here to enjoy in doing nothing. :)"

"Bungalow that I was given, although it had a hammock, the latter had some malfunctions (uneven) and it was not possible to rest in it as it is meant. So I had to improvise. Maybe it would not be bad if they could replace it with the same style hammock like it is in other bungalows."

"Staff was very nice. They helped me repair my torn bag, rented bikes ( and scooters), gave good advice and helped book my onward bus. The location is amazing, surrounded by high end guest houses ,and everything you could want within walking distance.. I had one of the bungalows which backed onto a grass field and a couple of mornings I was wakened by cow bells and moos, nice way to start the day! The cats are nice and there are lots of friendly dogs on the street waiting to be scratched. Everything about the room was perfect. Spent most sunsets at the Hathim Indian Restaurant, yummy."

"The location is just a few minutes away from the pier by foot. The size of the room was nice."

"A few times even when it was not raining our room had lost power whilst others did not. I noticed that it was mostly when taking a shower, not sure if there’s a link with that. The receptionist was unable to speak any English so we were not able to ask any questions. When doing the check in, she had to call her sister who was able to speak English to explain everything to us."

"Great location, only a few minutes walk from the ferry port and close to main restaurants/bars. Bungalow was peaceful and quiet, and fan worked well with mosquito net available. Bikes available to hire for 25k kip."

"Gaps in the walls and flooring so expect bugs, there were ants in the bathroom. Mosquito net had some holes in it."

"Basic room with mosquito net, the shower sprayed everywhere a bit and there were a few ants. However, the location was perfect right near the pier and easy accessible to walk around either side of the island as well as near lots of shops and restaurants. I loved the balcony with the hammock and spent many relaxing hours on here as it was so peaceful! I definitely recommend this lovely place!"
