"Kiri is de beste host van Cambodja die je maar kan bedenken! Deze man van Borneo is zeer vriendelijk, gastvrij, regelde onze junglrtocht en geeft jou alle informatie die je nodig hebt. Hij regelde de upgrade van onze celcard en regelde de bustickets naar Siem Reap. Allemaal voor de lokale prijzen. Hij is zo aardig en geniet van elke conversatie met zijn gasten. Hij heeft ruime ervaring in het hotelwezen, weet wat gastvrijheid betekent en geniet ook zelf zichtbaar van zijn rustige plek! Ook is hij een zeer goede kok. Het ontbijt was elke ochtend uitgebreid en voortreffelijk (included) en met liefde gemaakt. Het is heel goed vertoeven in zijn lodge. Mooi zwembad, en de kamers zijn heel groot en comfortabel. Wij (Indo's) hadden een goede connectie met hem, ook omdat wij ook kaal zijn!"

"Hygiëne kan verbeterd worden. Kamers werden tussentijds niet schoon gemaakt, stoffig, geen schone handdoeken als je er langere tijd blijft, douche was koud water."

I have travelled a lot over the past decades. I rarely get surprised anymore. These 3 days were a delightful surprise. Top that off with the environmentally friendly approach to growing food and employing local people, and you get a place that wins people's hearts. This is a place where you can be yourself and feel part of the family. The name of my cottage sums up this place in 3 words. Home Sweet Home. I will be back."

"Kiri is a truly fantastic host. He looked after us from arranging long distance transport to restaurant referrals to adopting his food ingredients to accommodate food sensitivities. He showed us his garden and freely shared his considerable knowledge. The swimming pool is nice and big. Kiri is a fantastic cook and clearly enjoys spoiling his guests with great food."

"Some elements of the accommodation are old and beginning to wear. For us that was fine and an integral part of the atmosphere."

"We were so well looked after by Mr Kiri and the staff here. He cooked an incredible breakfast for us and helped us with our onward travel to Vietnam. The pool was great after 3 days trekking in the jungle. Perfect place to stay for some rest and recuperation in Banlung."

"Loved the big pool where we can really swim and we also enjoyed a late checkout. Kiri went out of his way to please us by offering fresh fruits near the pool, preparing good portions of local breakfast with real fruit juice. The food is really tasty, especially the "pbor" with lots of ingredients which is the best porridge I've ever eaten during my whole three-week stay in various cities and towns in Cambodia. He prepared sandwiches and water when we left whereas we didn't ask for anything. He helped us book also a tuk-tuk in order to see the waterfalls and the high-up 360 degrees vista with a Buddha statue. All in all, it was a great stay thanks to our host."

"No hot water in the shower but given the high temperature outside, it didn't bother me. Be ready to be awakened early in the morning by some animal cries but it's also part of the "jungle" feel. There were some dead mosquitoes on one of the beds: no big deal as my daughter slept with me. On the downside, there was a weird incident after checkout, where he called our tuk-tuk to come back whereas we had already paid everything in cash before leaving with a tip: he was glad to receive the tip which he said enabled him to pay his staff some extra-money for the New Year. Luckily, after reminding him that we've already paid in cash, he acknowledged his mistake and apologized but because of that incident we wasted some time whereas we thought that we would arrive in advance to take the night bus. Finally, we arrived just in time so it was a happy ending after all this stress."

"I really enjoyed the service. I felt I was a guest in a 5* Hotel. The offered hibiscus drink was super refreshing. All the time cold bottled water exactly needed after hot day and the food there is outstanding. its the first time since one year Asia i was over eaten as well from breakfast as for dinner. the pizza in the wooden oven something very special for Asia. By beginning at the check-in thing's didnt worked out well but. thing's sometimes goes wrong but that can happen, important is to make it out again and i truly felt they did. Thank you for the Taxi one more time. if you are in the region i think its the place with the overall best package."

"The host Kiri was absolutely lovely and tended to any and all wishes we had including really good vegetarian breakfast and dinner. The lodge is pretty and very comfortable and the view from the terrace is stunning!"
