"Modern, well equipped accommodation perfectly suited to those who want a comfortable self sustained stay. Location was super, everything within a short walk. Staff were great, helpful in giving advice and pointing us in the right direction as well as making us feel welcome. Hinzan provides a free taxi service for guests, this was really helpful for going to and from the mountain to save a cold walk. We will be back!"

"Excellent staff who went above and beyond to help us with the hospital when I was ill, we really appreciate their help and they were so kind at a time we really needed it! The apartment is very nice, kitchen was great with lots of utensils so you could cook full meals, TV was good with Netflix and YouTube, comfortable bed, good sofa"

"Boiler was a bit noisy, but the staff came right away to help with that and it kept us warm anyways"

"The property is close to the slopes and central to grand Hirafu. The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The shuttle service was convenient and was the cherry on top of our stay. Staff was also very helpful in arranging our transports to and from the airport."

"Stylish and very comfortable two bedroom apartment in a great central location. Lots of nice touches, like outdoor ski lockers and a heated ski boot room as you enter the building. The staff runs a shuttle from 8 to 8 to take you anywhere in a 10 minute radius -- that gets you to the base of either of the Hirafu gondolas or into town. Staff were very friendly and very responsive. We also ordered an in-room hot pot meal experience that was a lot of fun and a real highlight of the trip."

"Honestly it was all great. It was a bit pricey, but that was true of everyplace in Hirafu this year."

"I wish I could give this an exceptional review, but I can't. The owners made us suffer with a broken air conditioner. I spent my vacation dealing back and forth with the owners on the issue. They insisted that it was operator error, but when they finally had someone come out, they spent 7 hours at the condo trying to repair it. We only enjoyed the AC for our last day there. It was a major inconvenience and hassle. It was one of the hottest weeks in Japan and although the AC was working in the living room, we could barely use the upstairs bedrooms and only full bathroom because it was soooo hot in the condo. We rented a 3-bedroom condo for a reason and could only utilize a portion of it."

"We had such a lovely time at Corner Shop. We stayed in the tatami mat room which was perfect for us, the rooms are so spacious, beautifully laid out and we had a view out onto the mountain. The toilet and shower room were also very clean and spacious. There is also a small kitchen with sink, kettle, fridge and crockery that we could use. The guest house is above a cafe/shop/bar with a really nice atmosphere and the staff were so friendly, kind and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this was the best place we have stayed in Japan and we will definitely be recommending it to friends! Miyota is a great location in a stunning landscape. It is easily accessible by train from Tokyo and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance of Corner Shop."

"Nice and clean apartment, with all I needed for my stay. The washing machine with a hanging line for the clothes is very handy for long stays. Perfect location, very close to the main street and metro stations in one of the most popular areas in Tokyo, but without the noise of tbeinf in a busy street. The staff was very kind, letting me check in before the defined time and able to help fast and efficiently. I really loved it (except the bed) and I will definitely come back (if I am alone or if I am with another person if there is a proper mattress). I have being in several places in Tokyo and in different areas, this apartment is the best one for me!"
