Het Locanda Palazzone ligt op slechts 5 km buiten Orvieto, omgeven door 50 hectare eigen wijngaarden. Het Locanda Palazzone is een charmant en historisch gebouw, gebouwd in 1300 voor het vieren van het eerste Jubeljaar. Het beschikt over ruime suites met originele elementen, zoals plafonds met houten balken of houten vloeren. "To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it."
