Hótel Austur

"De locatie was midden in het centrum van Reydarfjordur, mooi gelegen, en 's nachts toch verrasend stil. het personeel was heel vriendelijk, de uitbater , een Ijslander, toonde ons de kamer, ruim, goed voorzien, Toonde ons de dineerplaats in club Cosy, ook deel van hun bedrijf, 's avonds hadden we nog een vraag, en dat maakte hij nog in orde, kwam even bij ons aan tafel, schonk een gratis borrel, en vrstrekte ons alle informatie waar we naar vroegen."

"De bedden waren iets te zacht naar onze smaak, maar toch heb ik er heel goed geslapen."

"Views are great like everywhere. For one night stop very good option, since everything you might need is "rock-throw" away. Breakfast was also pretty good."

"Great stay at hotel Austur. Room was good and linen soft. Breakfast is continental and did surely overcome our expectation. Would have loved to stay another night. High recommendation."

"Lovely village with a decent bar/ cafe. Neat room.. Small working radiator in the bathroom dried rinsed out clothes nicely. Decent breakfast. Wifi was fine."

"A cute hotel in a little village. We had an awesome stay and the people working there were really friendly. We had a laugh with the girl at the reception and she helped us figure out what we could do around the village. She was really helpful. There was also a cafe on the other side of the road which was owned by the people of the hotel, so we spent the evenings there. It had a nice vibe. Near the cafe was a guesthouse (Taergesen) also owned by them. The girl from the reception gave us a tour of the guesthouse and it was really cosy and sweet. Next time we might try that :) Finally there was breakfast included in the hotel and we had a big choice of food. We could eat as much as we wanted, so everyday we started with a good meal. Our stay was Austur in Reydarfjordur was one of our favourites. Such another life than the one we are used to. Felt like you were in another world."

"The room was clean and warm. After a long day on an icy road, just what we needed. The breakfast is self service and is very well arranged. It had everything that we needed and then some more."
