"The place is exactly as described. The directions to the room were clear. We drove from Jökulsárlón, and it felt like quite a drive. Despite the snow that night, we weren't cold in the rooms, and the house was well-heated inside."

"When we drove there it’s hard to see the signage to turn in due to road works. We have to drive 2 rounds before we see the signage"

"Excellent clean place, great kitchen, free hot chocolate, fantastic location, close to city and Stokksnes. We really enjoyed staying here and the price was also nice. Room was very close to the kitchen which was a bonus."

"Only two shared bathroom which was sometimes full. Normally wouldn't bother us but we had a 2 year old who is just learning to control her nature calls. Some guests were loud in the kitchen at night time and could be heard in the room. The owner should put sign up or enforce "quiet time" past 10pm like other places. I have not marked the place down for these things as it didn't massively affect our stay here and we still enjoyed the accommodation."

"Large, clean, and well equipped kitchen and very clean bathrooms. Check-in was very smooth. Very friendly and sweet cats at the location, which love a pat. Very close to Hofn centre. Good location to stop for the night if doing the Ring Road, road trip - between Vik and Egilsstaðir."

"Self check in was easy and quick, everything was organised for when I arrived. Room was clean and although basic had everything I needed. I had a good nights sleep and didn’t get troubled by any noise. The access room to the property is a short gravel road but fine for cars. The car park was busy but is large enough to accommodate plenty of cars. The shared kitchen was large and clean. The free coffee machine was appreciated and delivered good coffee. There was enough equipment and utensils to cook your own meal and indeed some people were doing so. Check out was easy and the location of the hotel was just a free miles from the town so easy to get to via car. I would be happy to stay here again."
