"Prachtige huisjes in een mooie omgeving. Veel wandelpaden in de buurt. Volledig uitgerust met ook koffie/thee/chocomel/noodles. Het is self check-in, maar de eigenaren reageren direct op berichtjes met vragen. 10/10!"

"Alles! Top accommodatie met schitterend uitzicht! Alles heel nieuw en netjes! Er was olie, peper en zout en zelfs wat kruiden zodat we konden koken. We konden Netflix kijken. Ik zou zo terugkomen!"

"We had a great stay. The owners were very friendly and helped us with questions about road conditions and asked in-between if everything is alright or if we need anything. The view onto the lake is outstanding. When the weather is special it is like watching a fire place. This is a great accommodation for tow and to relax. The access to the accommodation was, also it was winter, very good by car."

"Bygghamar was a fantastic stay. From the moment you arrive, you feel right at home. The setting is incredibly peaceful and quiet, making it perfect for relaxing. The amenities were excellent, and every window offers a stunning view of the surroundings. The house itself was spotless and thoughtfully designed. Communication with the hosts was easy and very friendly throughout. I highly recommend booking this place if you’re planning to explore the Snæfellsnes area!"

"Located in beautiful wild countryside with minimal light pollution to see the northern lights, yet close enough to the nearby town for some excellent dining and amenities. Cosy and warm, comfy bed, good shower and very good communication with the hosts. A great place to experience Iceland’s beautiful nature in the comfort of a cosy, modern and private accommodation. The milk in the fridge was a lovely touch!"

"Absolutely the best stay during our 10 days in Iceland! We drove up to Stykkisholmur because we wanted to explore the Snaeffelsness peninsula for here on out. These cabins are located at the absolute most best location. Overlooking a huge frozen lake on one side (we went in winter) and a mountain range on the other. Just dreamy... Absolutely stunning. Kitchen was very well equipped with lots of the basic condiments even (pepper, salt, olive oil, coffee, tea...), quite a large bathroom with lots of towels, very nice bed with a window overlooking the northern lights, free parking spot (with an electric vehicle charger), in short, we absolutely adored our stay there!"

"Great location. Peaceful. Compact but purpose built so everything worked really well. Good lighting, comfy bed, view from dining table excellent. Contacting host very easy. Great to have basics such oil, pepper, salt and sugar."
