"Nos hicieron un upgrade a Villa Marina, un apartamento situado en la colina que domina Red Hook. Las vistas son soberbias; buen equipamiento, piscina “cuasi-privada”. Buena atención del dueño en el paso de la tormenta tropical Ernesto y posteriores consecuencias (leves). Recomendable"

La contrapartida a las buenas vistas es subir arriba. Es necesario coche (lo teníamos). El único “pero” era la extraña dependencia de generadores eléctricos para tener agua corriente dentro de casa. Tras la tormenta hubo que usar generador y andar cambiando bombonas de gas (pero el duelo, Steve, se encargó de ello)

"Owners responded promptly. Complimentary breakfast added a delightful touch. Beds were comfortable. The beach was just a 2-3 minute walk away, and parking was conveniently located right in front of the unit. The staff were exceptionally helpful."

The shower had a heater problem, there was no shampoo or soap in the lower washrooms, and the TV didn't work. However, none of these issues affected our stay.

"Patrick en Lisbeth zijn 2 geweldige mensen. Ophaal.van vliegveld, direct even stoppen bij supermarkt om alvast wat spullen te kopen. De gastvrijheid die je direct voelt. Je kunt voor alle vragen bij ze terecht en ze helpen waar ze kunnen. Ook de accommodatie was super. Op loopafstand van restaurants, winkels en openbaar vervoer. Hierdoor hebben wij een super vakantie gehad op het prachtige Barbados 😊😊"

The shower pressure was on a low side however the owner promised to act on it.

"The location is fantastic to explore the northern parts of the island. The view was spectacular and the hosts are really tentative and friendly. The cottages are good equipped and had everything we needed."

"This was a great house with all the facilities we needed for a 5 night stay. We were a group of 9 which is probably the maximum this house can take, the sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was fine for our shorter trip. Everything worked really well and the hotel this villa is connected to had great facilities like a sauna and hottib which were free to use. The host was great, the location for this villa is slightly incorrect on this site as it was a bit further out than we expected but the host was helpful in getting us transport everymoring to the ski centers."

"Prachtige villa op een rustgevende locatie, ver weg van de drukte. Het huis is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien, de host is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam indien nodig! Je parkeert eenvoudig voor de deur en er is goede WiFi. De bedden slapen heerlijk en we kregen vers brood van de eigenaar. Echt een oase van rust!"

"L'accueil de la propriétaire qui était présente et qui nous a fait faire le tour des lieux, l'accès à la piscine même si nous n'en avons pas profité hélas!!! et pour notre départ nous avons pu laisser nos bagages sur place ce qui nous a évité de les avoir pendant la dernière journée."

Il serait bien qu'un minimum pour le premier petit déjeuner soit proposé ce serait top et peut être un peu plus de vaisselle comme on peut y être entre 4 et 6 personnes c'est un peu léger.

"Mooie tuin met heerlijk privé-zwembad in de tuin. Uitzicht vanuit de huiskamer op het zwembad. Goede douche, keuken met alles erop en eraan."

In tegenstelling tot buiten oogt het huis binnen wat oud en gedateerd. Oude meubels, badkamer zeer eenvoudig en oud, airco maakte continu herrie, in de wc beneden hing een vieze lucht (net als op het terras buiten). Op zich is dit een prima accoommodatie, maar is het wel overpriced voor wat je ervoor krijgt.

"The location was peaceful, provided privacy and a lot of calming nature surrounded us. The trip to Kuressaare was short and perfect for evening dinners."

The cabin walls were quite thin, so throughout the stay we could hear clearly what the neighbours were saying, doing and when they were using their bathroom and shower

Would've been helpful to know about the hot tub maintenance guy popping in - they accidentally scared one of my friends.

"La camera padronale è uno spettacolo di accoglienza, ben arredata, piena di luce e di comodità. La cucina con open space è molto funzionale, comoda e completamente attrezzata. Sali la comoda rampa di scale ed al piano di sopra ci sono le camere comode e piene di luce con i relativi bagni."

"Wij kwamen vroeger aan dan gepland en mochten - ondanks dat de host nog aan het schoonmaken was al naar binnen. We hebben fijn alle spullen kunnen wassen en het huis was groter, schoner en fijner dan verwacht. De locatie vlakbij de oceaan is ook erg mooi, een veilige buurt. Heerlijk gebraaid op de binnen braai, in de zomer zou dit ook buiten kunnen."

We waren er in de winter, het huis was eigenlijk te koud. We hebben 3 zakken hout gestookt op de openhaard om het behagelijk te krijgen (overige wel goed dat je dit voor een schappelijke prijs kon kopen ter plekke).

"We had a great family time in Holiday Raj. The hosts were very accommodating and accessible, made us feel really welcomed. Also, the sauna is top!"

"Een ruime cabin op een prachtlocatie, met schitterend uitzicht over de vallei en op de vulkaan. Uitermate vriendelijk ontvangen en een zeer behulpzame gastheer. Er is AC op de slaapkamer. De BBQ hebben we met plezier gebruikt en daarvoor kregen we wat diesel om de kolen aan te krijgen. Het terrein wordt afgesloten met een automatisch hek, dat voelt veilig."

De hanen in de buurt maken je vroeg wakker, maar zo erg is dat nu ook weer niet.
