"We hadden last minute een gewone kamer geboekt, maar kregen een suite met een aparte zitkamer. Het hotel ligt aan het centrale plein van het stadje. We kregen vooraf ook een heel lange en sympathieke mail van de uitbaatster die je een goed beeld gaf van wat je wel en niet mocht verwachten."

Ik vond de bedden wat hard, en omdat we een kamer aan de voorkant hadden, hoorden we ook het geratel van de autobanden op de kasseien aan het centrale plein.

De chauffeur die ons van het vliegveld haalde had niet het goede bord met namen bij zich, dus veel verwarring. Fout van het hotel?

"Our group of 20 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stellas in Ziemupe. The holiday home exceeded our expectations, with 10 spacious bedrooms that perfectly accommodated each couple. The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, and having a private beach just 400 meters away was a dream! We spent a beautiful day and night enjoying the peaceful surroundings and watching a stunning sunset by the sea. The two kitchens, one large and one smaller, made meal preparations easy and seamless for our group. The host was incredibly responsive, ensuring our check-in was smooth and that we had everything we needed. The thoughtful amenities provided made our weekend stay feel effortless and relaxing. Zelf koken ging niet makkelijk. Moest in het kleine keukentje, Vatka hielp dan wel.

"Het pension is misschien iets gedateerd maar dat heeft ook weer zijn charme. De ligging is heel fijn op 15 rijden vanaf het meer van Bled."

De douche op de gang is wel erg klein.

Het avondeten kun je beter in het stadje Wadi Musa zelf halen.

"We had an amazing stay! The hosts Kristina and Kozma and their cute little dog were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. They even shared the tastiest fresh tomatoes from their garden. The balcony had a gorgeous view over the sea, and they were kind enough to give us a ride back to Vlora. Honestly, such lovely people – highly recommend!"

"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?
