"Super mooie locatie in de bergen, fijne plekken om buiten te relaxen, hele leuke en lieve staff die alles voor je regelen"

Het is een eenvoudige accommodatie, daar moet je je op instellen. Ook verbleven wij er tijdens de eerste koude nacht in de bergen en hadden we twee dekens en kleding nodig om warm te blijven. Daar kan de accommodatie verder weinig aan doen, maar wel goed om je te realiseren.

Het had misschien nog iets schoner gekund in de douche en toilet, verder de kamer en bedden wel gewoon lekker schoon

Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.

"Mooie huisjes met hartelijke vriendelijke eigenaren. Omgeving was prachtig. Heerlijke honing gekocht. Eten was ook heerlijk. Aardappelsoep als voorgerecht, lekker stukje wild met groente en aarappels. En ijs met lekkere aardbeien."

Eigenlijk niets, maar als we dan iets moeten noemen dan de slaapbank (kraakt wel behoorlijk). Het gewone bed is superfijn!

"Cette maison d'hôtes est charmante. J'ai été à l'aise....comme à la maison. Le jardin est paisible. J'ai apprécié le calme et le personnel qui était au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. J'ai apprécié aussi la proposition d'un chauffeur depuis l'aéroport compris dans le tarif. Il y a un super marché à 300m bien pratique."

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times

"Since I read the book who the owner Dorota wrote, I really wanted to visit Vanilla House. And it was as I imagined, even better!!! The sound of the ocean at night...The breeze.. The food... The view... I loved it!!!!"

"This is a family recreational resort with some dorms. Mine was inside the main building near the inside pool and table tennis area. The showers and two toilets are those used by the pool guests. I was fortunate to have only one female dorm mate. There are lockers outside in the hallway and you are given a room key. The manager kindly lent me sheets. I liked the location in the woods not far from the pedestrian street."

The kitchen could use some new utensils. There were no cups or glasses, just some plastic cups.

"Echt een paradijsje! Super schoon, fantastisch uitzicht en prima douche. Via een trappetje ben je zo op het strand en je ziet de zonsondergang vanuit de hangmat op het terras. De gastheer doet alles om je te helpen. We hebben genoten!"

"Great location by the sea and near the harbour. Nice, old-fashioned interior decoration, mirroring the age of some of the buildings. Very friendly staff who let us keep our freezer packs in their freezer. We went kayaking for one night, could leave our car at their parking lot, and when we came back we could use their facilities to get a fresh water shower."

"De ontzettend aardige eigenaar en personeel. Locatie was ook goed. Kamer ruim. Ik kreeg spontaan bij ontbijt heerlijke verse moringa thee. Ik heb geen oordoppen nodig gehad en dat had ik wel verwacht."

Goede prijs-kwaliteit. Bedden zoals bijna overal in Nepal hard.

"De host was enorm vriendelijk en gastvrij. We kwamen pas om 4 uur snachts aan bij het verblijf, maar dit was geen enkel probleem en hij ontving ons erg vriendelijk. Het appartement is basic, maar voor een overnachting dichtbij het vliegveld heb je niet meer nodig dan dit."

Gostaria de poder ficar mais dias . Tem muitas atividades de esportes no lago . E poder ficar tempo no ambiente. Quase igual estar em casa.

The location was a but challenging, nothing to eat close by or to have a walk, but the owner was driving us everywhere, they were so nice

Facing the emergency situation, Mr Fadiga kindly confirmed and ensure there would be a room available for me. He told me that Mr Manet would pick me up from the airport and all promises were kept. Mr Manet was professional, friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. He took me everyday to the the conference I had come to attend (1 hour away) and back. He was always punctual and easy to reach. This was an excellent service. The room was very large and clean. The hot water tank, air con and TV worked perfectly."

"Simpele kamers maar super schoon, fijne douche, goede koelkast en heerlijke bedden. De keuken was ook altijd schoon en hygiënisch. Er zijn genoeg plekjes om lekker te zitten, ook voor het ontbijt. Goed en gratis parkeren bij de accommodatie. Het personeel, wij zijn ontvangen door Magdy, is ook super vriendelijk en denkt met ons mee. Voor ons was de locatie top, onze vrienden wonen dichtbij en je kan makkelijk wandelen naar het gezellige plantsoen Marie Pampoen en naar Pietermaai/Punda. Wij hebben een fijn verblijf gehad hier!"
