Beetje verouderd, maar alles werkte en was prima in orde.

"Cette maison d'hôtes est charmante. J'ai été à l'aise....comme à la maison. Le jardin est paisible. J'ai apprécié le calme et le personnel qui était au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. J'ai apprécié aussi la proposition d'un chauffeur depuis l'aéroport compris dans le tarif. Il y a un super marché à 300m bien pratique."

"Keeps its promises. The owner, Mr Fadiga saved my life after the Radisson hotel had cancel my booking (and the booking of 30+ guests) without informing us of this in advance. Facing the emergency situation, Mr Fadiga kindly confirmed and ensure there would be a room available for me. He told me that Mr Manet would pick me up from the airport and all promises were kept. Mr Manet was professional, friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. He took me everyday to the the conference I had come to attend (1 hour away) and back. He was always punctual and easy to reach. This was an excellent service. The room was very large and clean. The hot water tank, air con and TV worked perfectly."

"Staff was great. We were always in touch with the host that is available all the time. The host is very kind and polite and worried to fill all the guests needs. A place that is comfortable and nice."

There is nothing to complain

"Lovely owners who are caring and helpful. They kindly provided a few names of local tour guides. Nice shower. Good kitchen. Quiet. Close the town."

Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.

"In mooi hofje in mooi klein dorpje. Zeer ruime kamer en fijne badkamer. Op verzoek fantastisch ontbijt"

"De host was enorm vriendelijk en gastvrij. We kwamen pas om 4 uur snachts aan bij het verblijf, maar dit was geen enkel probleem en hij ontving ons erg vriendelijk. Het appartement is basic, maar voor een overnachting dichtbij het vliegveld heb je niet meer nodig dan dit."

"Mooie huisjes met hartelijke vriendelijke eigenaren. Omgeving was prachtig. Heerlijke honing gekocht. Eten was ook heerlijk. Aardappelsoep als voorgerecht, lekker stukje wild met groente en aarappels. En ijs met lekkere aardbeien."

Alles was goed.

"The property was super quiet, the bed is like a literal cloud, a fridge perfect to fill your drinks, complimentary tea and coffee. Not too forget the amazing pool."

"The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The bathroom was old but the hot water worked well. There was a fridge. Overall a decent stay."

The toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor. It feels a bit out of town but only a short drive away.

"We loved the courtyard where we had our breakfast which we put together from supplies from a nearby supermarket and the street fruit vendors. As shown on the wesite, the courtyard is a truly delightful spot, especially in a sunny morning, and important if you wish to eat or chat with your fellow travellers, as our rooms were too small for that. The staff were kind an helpful, and the daily room service and available linen service, ensured a clean room (and clean clothes). The location was close to where our conference was held and in a short walking distance the the lakeside, parliament house etc. Other city sights, the Plaza shopping mall, etc were usually an inexpensive taxi ride away."

The absence of wi-fi and difficulties getting an internet connection the courtyard and my room was a real inconvenience, only solved by purchasing a local sim and forgetting about my usual roaming arrangement for keeping in touch with family back home.

"De locatie was zeer moeilijk te bereiken wegens grote infrastructuur werkzaamheden. Ik heb toen de eigenaar gebeld (omstreeks 23.30) en hij is me komen ophalen. Aangekomen in het hotel vroeg hij me of ik nog iets wou eten. Hij is dan nog beginnen koken voor mij."

"The stay was lovely, nice property owner and hostess. The house was clean and very spacious which I liked."

I wish I could’ve stayed longer. However I wished the shower head had more water power behind it the water ran slowly and it was hard to catch warm and hot water. I would have personally liked air conditioning, however overall it was a nice stay.

Het is een eenvoudige accommodatie, daar moet je je op instellen. Ook verbleven wij er tijdens de eerste koude nacht in de bergen en hadden we twee dekens en kleding nodig om warm te blijven. Daar kan de accommodatie verder weinig aan doen, maar wel goed om je te realiseren.

"Hele vriendelijke ontvangst, host heel bubbly en leuk. Goede toegangsweg en lekker rustig met een paar andere huurders naast je."

Veel afval rondom in de struiken, geen buiten zit plaats, keuken niet volledig (alleen maar vorken en geen messen). Het nodigde niet uit om zelf te koken. Wel zeep in de badkamer, geen shampoo. Airconditioning had veel lawaai

"Prima lokatie, naast het paleis en de avondmarkt. Maar toch heerlijk rustig. De kamers zijn schoon en erg groot. En het gebouw is een mooi, historisch pand. Het personeel is erg aardig en zeer behulpzaam. We moesten al vroeg weg naar het vliegveld en toch hebben ze in alle vroegte nog een ontbijt voor ons klaargemaakt. Dat ontbijt is overigens prima, met vers sap / smoothie, ei en fruit."

Er hangt een TV maar zoals zo vaak is de ontvangst slecht. Maar ja, wie heeft op vakantie een TV nodig 😉

"Locatie was perfect om Reykjavik te bezoeken. Op 200 meter heb je bushalte Klambratun waar je met buslijn 3(BSI busterminal) of 6 direct in het centrum bent. Lijn 55 brengt je naar de luchthaven. De citycard geeft je trouwens toegang tot gratis openbaar vervoer. Indien je dit niet wenst, wandel je ongeveer 15 minuten tot het centrum. De eigenaars van het guesthouse waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar lekker. Voor ons is die hele poespas 's morgens niet nodig."

Het viel niet echt tegen maar het was een beetje jammer dat je gedurende de dag de koffiemachine niet kan gebruiken. Na een lange wandeling of een uitstap kan een tas koffie deugd doen.

Gostaria de poder ficar mais dias . Tem muitas atividades de esportes no lago . E poder ficar tempo no ambiente. Quase igual estar em casa.

Bathroom was a bit drafty, can be a bit cold when you shower. Tap water is slightly salty

"This is a wonderful place to stay. It is beautifully decorated, clean and the staff were wonderful."

The lighting in the room was terrible. Having said that, they happily provided me with a reading lamp,

"Amazing location right on the beach, quiet surroundings yet not too far away from shops, restaurants and the city center. The house was spacious and clean with A.C., a fan and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge. Mr. Dagobert was very kind and welcoming, he also picked us up from the station. Thank you, it was a really nice stay!"

Keep in mind the accomodation is very basic and I think some renovations could be done, for instance our room didn’t have mosquito nets.

"Mooi, zeer goed voorziene bungalow -4 bungalows op een rij-gelegen in een prachtige park met veel vogels, bloemen, planten. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Goede internet verbinding. Het is er rustig en niet zo heet als aan de kust. Als alle bungalows bezet zijn kan dat misschien wat geluidsoverlast geven maar er is zeker genoeg privacy. Wij waren erg blij met de informatieve rondleiding door het park, nog eens dank ervoor! In het dorp zijn wat winkels en een paar km verderop richting Basse Terre is een grote superU. Het is ons uitstekend bevallen."

Sommige kamers waren wel wat klein. Helaas is de binnenstad erg in verbouwing.

The atmosphere feels welcoming and relaxed, and it really makes a difference, beds are super comfortable. The guest house has everything you need!"
