De kamers zijn niet zo groot, maar prima te doen

"The staff were very friendly. Everything was clean and tidy. WiFi worked very well. The breakfast was provided in the hotel nearby and it was very good. The location was also perfect, given that everything in the town is easily accessible by foot."

"Prima lokatie, naast het paleis en de avondmarkt. Maar toch heerlijk rustig. De kamers zijn schoon en erg groot. En het gebouw is een mooi, historisch pand. Het personeel is erg aardig en zeer behulpzaam. We moesten al vroeg weg naar het vliegveld en toch hebben ze in alle vroegte nog een ontbijt voor ons klaargemaakt. Dat ontbijt is overigens prima, met vers sap / smoothie, ei en fruit."

Er hangt een TV maar zoals zo vaak is de ontvangst slecht. Maar ja, wie heeft op vakantie een TV nodig 😉

"De ontzettend aardige eigenaar en personeel. Locatie was ook goed. Kamer ruim. Ik kreeg spontaan bij ontbijt heerlijke verse moringa thee. Ik heb geen oordoppen nodig gehad en dat had ik wel verwacht."

Goede prijs-kwaliteit. Bedden zoals bijna overal in Nepal hard.

"De host was enorm vriendelijk en gastvrij. We kwamen pas om 4 uur snachts aan bij het verblijf, maar dit was geen enkel probleem en hij ontving ons erg vriendelijk. Het appartement is basic, maar voor een overnachting dichtbij het vliegveld heb je niet meer nodig dan dit."

"Large balcony with view to the patio. Breakfast served was great; plus guests could choose from several types of breakfast - everyone should find sth suitable according to ones preferences. Room was clean, bed comfy and shower had hot water."

"Kathy is zeer vriendelijk & behulpzaam en zal helpen waar dat nodig is. Alles is ook zeer proper. We zouden dit verblijf zeker opnieuw boeken als we nog eens naar Santo gaan."

Het is ver van het centrum van Luganville maar met een taxi of de lokale bus ben je er meteen. Laat dit je dus zeker niet afschrikken.

"Everything: location, interior design, hospitality, cleanliness, the fact that there is a private gated parking for the guests! I felt like visiting someone’s house, not a hotel, it was so cozy and calm. I will definitely stay there again in the future!"

"Mooie accomodatie, vlak bij de boulevard, uiterst vriendelijk personeel"

Geen ontbijt beschikbaar

"Vriendelijk ontvangen, mevrouw spreekt goed duits en geeft tips over het stadje. Hele dag door gratis koffie en thee, fijn om plekken te hebben om even te gaan zitten. Je kunt uit een koelkast drinken kopen. Goed ontbijt. Fijne ligging, je loopt zo het centrum binnen."

Alles was goed

"De kamer was uit een Oosters sprookje, met een geweldige nis waar het bed in lag en een prachtige douche waar ik in zou kunnen scuba diven als ik hem als bad had kunnen gebruiken. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte is een droom en zo knus. Ik moest even wennen aan de wapperende vlaggetjes maar uiteindelijk bracht juist dat me in slaap. De breakfast / lunchroom die in het hotel ligt serveert heerlijk eten. Ik werd door Amira ontvangen alsof ik familie was en als female solo traveller waardeerde ik het enorm dat ze regelmatig even checkte hoe het met mij ging. Ik voelde me helemaal thuis toen de tweede dag de kat van het hotel mij adopteerde en vanaf dat moment elke nacht bij me sliep, 8 nachten lang."

Soms deed het water van de douche het niet, dan was er denk ik net elders in het hotel gedoucht. Het matras was aan vervanging toe, maar als je alleen bent kan je best een comfortabele plek vinden en heerlijk slapen.

"Hele mooie tuin, het feit dat de eigenaren met hun homestay ook het weeshuis kunnen bekostigen en de tips van de eigenaar, super ruime huisjes"

Het had misschien nog iets schoner gekund in de douche en toilet, verder de kamer en bedden wel gewoon lekker schoon

"Heel behulpzaam personeel. Auto gratis en direct naast de deur parkeren. Hoewel het hotel een beetje gedateerd is maakt de prijs een de lokatie alles goed. En heel belangrijk: De bedden sliepen gewoon echt goed! Het ontbijt in het ernaast gelegen hotel is ook echt heerlijk! En vanaf het hotel loop je zo het centrum in of de boulevard op. En dichtbij heerlijke eetgelegenheden. Wij gebruikte het verblijf als uitvalsbasis voor troops in Galilea en de Golan. We zouden het zo weer doen."

Nothing was bellow our expectation taking into account the rating

"We had a really wonderful time at Hotel Dionisio Inn! It's close to everything you may want to visit in Antigua and the staff was really wonderful, kind, and attentive. Even if the language barrier, they always remembered what we were up to and asked how things were. Whenever we had a question, they were always ready to help out. It's not often that we've met such helpful and nice staff members. The room was clean, comfortable, and so much better than a lot of other places we stayed at on our trip in Guatemala. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book it again if we ever go back to Antigua."

Een klein stukje lopen naar het strand en naar eettentjes in Muri. De hotspot werkt fantastisch. Het contact met de verhuurder is makkelijk. Heel fijn om ook gebruik te maken van het resort. Wanneer je daar een drankje besteld, kan je gebruikmaken van alle faceliteiten"

"Bij aankomst in het hotel had ik flink de griep. Ik werd heel erg fijn opgevangen door de waardin die me bij stond met kruidenthee en zorgzaamheid. Ik ben haar voor altijd dankbaar."

"The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The bathroom was old but the hot water worked well. There was a fridge. Overall a decent stay."

The toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor. It feels a bit out of town but only a short drive away.

"Staff was great. We were always in touch with the host that is available all the time. The host is very kind and polite and worried to fill all the guests needs. A place that is comfortable and nice."

"Since I read the book who the owner Dorota wrote, I really wanted to visit Vanilla House. And it was as I imagined, even better!!! The sound of the ocean at night...The breeze.. The food... The view... I loved it!!!!"

"Mooi, zeer goed voorziene bungalow -4 bungalows op een rij-gelegen in een prachtige park met veel vogels, bloemen, planten. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Goede internet verbinding. Het is er rustig en niet zo heet als aan de kust. Als alle bungalows bezet zijn kan dat misschien wat geluidsoverlast geven maar er is zeker genoeg privacy. Wij waren erg blij met de informatieve rondleiding door het park, nog eens dank ervoor! In het dorp zijn wat winkels en een paar km verderop richting Basse Terre is een grote superU. Het is ons uitstekend bevallen."

"It was really good value for money in the area, the breakfast was nice and filling, egg made fresh, avocado, toast, fruit, coffee and tea. The room was really nice we thought it might be cold but the blankets kept us perfect temperature. Only a 4 minute drive from the bus terminal. The man on reception kindly flagged a tuktuk down for us in the morning to the terminal."

"Located in a quiet, idyllic location near the town center, it felt like a little retreat every time we returned home. It’s a spacious house which keeps cool due to the tiling and multiple doors you can open. We didn’t need air con in September. We could close the gates so the dogs couldn’t get in, this allowed the kids to play outside. The three year old was so excited to have swings. After time in the outer islands we really needed to freshen up, so the showers and washing machine were helpful. There was good amounts of drying space, the kitchen was fully functional, and we were given our space to enjoy our holiday."

Tonga is super basic so expectations of any accomodation need to keep this in mind.

"What I liked the most was, without a doubt, the host’s attention. Simply exceptional. Always attentive, giving advice on what to visit in the area, making your stay as easy, comfortable, and pleasant as possible. The guesthouse itself is spotless, the location ideal — I can only say everything was perfect."

There was absolutely nothing to complain about.
