"The location is amazing, if you like quiet and peaceful wilderness. Amadou and the team are extremely friendly and courteous. The food, although limited in choice as you would expect here, is very tasty. A great and enjoyable experience staying here again."

"Since our last visit in 2021, a motorbike taxi rank has sprung up on the beach, unfortunately right outside the lodge. A real shame, at no fault of the lodge's management, which detracts hugely from the experience. They told us they are trying to move a path to the beach, which would move the motorbikes - let's hope so, as it is a beautiful place."

"the location is amazing, remote, tranquil, far from hustle and bustle of big towns, the lodge stands literally on the beach, only few meters from the sea. it's a simple place but perfect to unwind, relax and reconnect with nature. the staff of the lodge was very friendly and polite, making sure we got everything we needed, food was delicious. the sunset and sunrise on the beach were breathtaking. amazing place and amazing people, the highlight of the trip to gambia ♥️"

"facilities in the room could be to a higher standard, some things were broken (toilet, sink). wi-fi was not working majority of the time. the noise of passing motorcycles was a bit annoying. the power comes from solar panels so there may be limited light available in the evening (torch or headlight may be handy)"

"Staying at Jinack lodge was a beautiful experience which made our whole vacation in Gambia really nice. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. The food is great as well. We loved the island so much that we even came here twice during our vacation. It is very peaceful and quiet, the whole length of the beach is lonely and beautiful. also we liked that there are a lot of animals strolling around."

"It is a bit difficult to get there by raft and moto taxi but with the help by locals it’s fine and definitely an experience. The lodges look like in the pictures so they have everything you need but are not the best standard which was fine for us."

"Directly on the kilometer long beach. Perfect bathing conditions (slightly sloping, no currents, no rocks, no dangerous fish/jellyfish, etc.). Free sunbeds. Super nice staff. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner (also vegetarian if desired). The huts are large and comfortable including large mosquito nets. All huts are solar powered. ps. They have German Beer and Wine from South Africa :)"

"It's a hidden paradise, which means an adventurous journey by motorbike or jeep - but Amadou will pick you up from Barra. The transfer went smoothly. Just ask him for a pick up. There is no possibility to shop in the immediate vicinity. But the team will get you everything you need to be happy. Who wants to be on the internet 24/7; it's the wrong address for him/her. It's solar powered. Electricity is precious and internet is only available during the day."

"Die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Besonders der Sohn des Besitzers, Karamba, hat auch ganz viel Zeit für meinen Aohn genommen und wirklich schön mit ihm gespielt. Außerdem ist sie Lage absolut unschlagbar. Wir konnten das Meeresrauschen aus unserem Zimmer heraus hören. Der Strand ist schön ruhig und ganz und gar nicht überlaufen."

"Im Zimmer selbst gibt es keine Möglichkeit das Handy zu laden, Strom funktioniert nur im Haupthaus."

"Tolle Lage auf sandiger Halbinsel direkt am Strand, nur zugängig über kleine Fähre und Transport via Motorrad (Anreise war etwas abenteuerlich per Holzboot mit Rettungsweste, da Fähre von Banjul nach Barra ausgefallen war. der Locationkoordinator Amadou war sehr nett und hilfsbereit"

"Wasser abends und nachts lief gar nicht (hinstellen von Wassereimer hätte schon gereicht), Steckdosen im Zimmer funktionierten nicht, daher war Laden von Handy o.ä. schwierig,"

"なんとなくで予約しましたが、驚きました。 交通機関がバイクしかありません。バイクの後ろで砂浜を約３０分走ります。 海が真ん前で、逆に貴重だったのかも知れません。 ガンビアの国情を考えると、多くは望めません。 海の家と思えば納得です。"
