Het YHA Malham is gevestigd in het rustige dorpje Malham, in de prachtige Yorkshire Dales. Het ligt naast talrijke fantastische wandel- en fietsroutes. Er is gratis parkeerplaats en de beroemde Gordale Scar bevindt zich op slechts 15 minuten lopen van het hotelcomplex. U kunt ontspannen in de eigen tuin van het hostel, of in de tv-kamer en lounge. Verder beschikt de accomodatie over een eigen winkel, een keuken om zelf maaltijden te bereiden en wasfaciliteiten. De grot van Malham, die te zien is in de films van Harry Potter en gebruikt werd als trainingsplaats voor de expeditie naar Mount Everest in 1953, ligt op slechts 5 minuten lopen van het hotelcomplex. Het 900 jaar oude kasteel van Skipton bevindt zich op 25 minuten rijden. Op 15 minuten rijden van het verblijfplaats kunt u de Settle-Carlisle-stoomtrein nemen. Fietsers kunnen gebruikmaken van een fietsenstalling en een droogruimte. Het hostel bevindt zich niet ver van de schilderachtige wandel- en fietsroutes Pennine Way en de Yorkshire Dales Cycle Way. U kunt eveneens het nabijgelegen pad langs de beek volgen, naar de Janet's Foss-waterval.

"Just what I needed after a tiring week hiking, very friendly staff, comfortable bed, great breakfast (lovely kitchen staff, especially the young lady managing the hot food service on a busy morning). Lots of places for refreshment nearby, and all local sites within walking distance. And the bed was made!"

"Wow, hadn’t stayed in a hostel in 10 years and this really impressed! Cheap, perfect location, clean great facilities and the member of staff we spoke to was welcoming and very helpful even though we didn’t arrive until 9:30pm. Was a perfect base for us for the three peaks challenge. Would definitely stay again, even taking the family next time to explore Malham. Thank you couldn’t have asked for any more."
