The Priory bed & breakfast ligt aan de rand van Bowland Forest en biedt gezellige accommodatie in het centrum van Scorton. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar en de snelweg M6 ligt op 15 minuten rijden. Elke kamer is licht ingericht met frisse, houten meubels en beschikt over een futuristische, eigen badkamer met gratis toiletartikelen. De logeerruimtes zijn voorzien van een flatscreen-tv, koffie- en theefaciliteiten en een haardroger. Het café is dagelijks geopend van 10:0010:00 16:0016:00 en serveert een stevig ochtendmaaltijd, lunches en heerlijk gebak, bereid met verse en lokale ingrediënten in alle zelfgemaakte gerechten. Er wordt geen diner geserveerd, maar u kunt wel een pre-la-cartediner of een drankje voor uw kamer bestellen als u niet wilt dineren. Het café heeft een gezellige open haard en een mooie eethoek in de openlucht. In de omgeving vindt u tal van schilderachtige wandel- en fietsroutes. The Priory is geschikt voor wandelaars en fietsers en biedt een beveiligde fietsenstalling en een droogruimte voor kleding. Er is gratis parkeerterrein en Lancaster ligt op 20 minuten rijden.

"The self contained apartment was lovely and well appointed. It had a new kitchen and appliances. It was also the perfect temperature without having to adjust thermostats - the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in the adjoining cafe was outstanding and the lady proprietor was super friendly :-) The village is very picturesque with nice walks directly from the apartment door. A handy SPAR shop across the road is useful."
"I am being extremely picky here but a couple of things would have made an excellent stay perfect. There are 2 TV's. The main TV to watch whilst sitting on the sofa in the lounge area is on an adjacent wall. I appreciate as the fitted kitchen is facing the sofa it can't be mounted there. However, suggestion maybe to use an extendable bracket so you can angle the TV towards the sofa. A lamp in the lounge would have been great as the overhead lights are very bright. I used the bedside lamp instead in the lounge for a more homely feel whilst watching TV."
