"Comfortable and welcoming, it’s a lovely house. The animals are amazing, chickens goats and donkeys. Nice walks from the door where you will see horses and al Pacas. Outstanding breakfast as well."

"The only thing I could criticise was that the room chairs were not the most comfortable, although there was a chaise longue in the room as well. Availability of the use of the properties main lounge was also unlimited"

"Our recent stay at Swallow's Rest was memorable and incredibly relaxing. The peaceful ambiance and beautiful setting were striking from the moment of arrival. The garden was a highlight, offering tranquil surroundings and a chance to relax in nature. Meeting the chickens, geese, goats, pig and the gorgeous donkeys on site added a unique and charming touch to the experience. Watching the small birds at the bird feeders in the morning at breakfast made it a very relaxing start to each day. The incredible hospitality of the host, Jane, made our stay exceptional. Her amazing attention to detail shone through, making guests feel welcome and well-cared for. The feeling of being in a "home away from home" was especially appreciated. Swallows Rest is highly recommended for a relaxing getaway with a personal touch. It offers a lovely garden and friendly animals."
