"We (family of 4 with 2 teenage kids) drove from Cherbourg to Biarritz and looked for a suitable place en route for an overnight stop at a budget price and were extremely lucky to find Pied à Terre. The gites are lovely barn conversions finished to an extremely high standard with everything you might need. Very clean and comfortable! We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening, taking in the panoramic views of the Brittany countryside and local wildlife. We liked it so much that we booked a gite for both the outward and return journeys - a different one each time but both as good as the other. We only stayed 1 night each time but would happily return and stay for longer. Thanks Nicolas and Johanna for the warm welcome and comfortable stay. Exceptional value for money."

"On the plus side, one can certainly mention a nicely furnished and decorated interior, spacious rooms, convenient beds, the water boiler being of an adequate size, a great view on the mountains from the balcony, proximity of hiking trails, restaurants and shops, as well as a dedicated parking lot and a good WiFi connection."

"La vue était superbe, le chalet parfait pour passer de belles vacances en famille avec un bébé de 16 mois et un bouvier bernois. Un grand jardin pour que notre chien puisse courir, beaucoup de calme. Beaucoup de belles balades à faire et de lieux à visiter proches (en voiture). Des hôtes réactifs et très sympathiques, c'est une belle adresse à retenir !"
"Good communication in advance from the hosts. The location was excellent, in the centre of the old town very close to the arena. The apartment was spacious and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. Great shower, comfortable bed. The bedroom is in a recess area that can be closed off with blackout curtains, so I slept very well. A very pleasant stay!"
"En una de las calles más emblemáticas de Burdeos. Sales por el portal y tienes todos los bares, restaurante y discotecas al pie del edificio. Perfecto para parejas, un fin de semana y para la gente joven. Tengo que decir que el aislamiento acústico hacia el exterior es impecable. Aún que no tanto el interior: pudimos incluso sentir cómo roncaba el vecino de al lado, así que intuyo que las paredes son de pladur. De todas formas, no nos ha resultado un problema y hemos dormido una semana en el apartamento estupendamente. Y no creo que resulte un problema para la mayoría de las personas. El equipo de la Consejería, de 10!!! Cómo sugerencia: Quizás buscar una alternativa para la cama o sobre todo el colchón? Para que sea un colchón real."
"Arnaud helped us navigate restaurants, local culture and places of historic interest. Superb breakfasts, lots of day to day variety. Housekeeping with microwave meant no washing up to do unlike had it been a gite. Lots more positives, I could go on ...."

"- The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning — the beach is right in front of you! - Only a 2-minute walk from the house to the beach. It’s not too crowded, which makes it a perfect spot to relax. Just note that there are no rentals for parasols or beach chairs, so it’s best to bring your own. - Conveniently close to the center of Carry-le-Rouet, where you can find restaurants and shops. The nearest Franprix is about a 20-minute walk, so having a car might be helpful. - The room was very clean and well-maintained. - Everything we needed was provided — the place was well-equipped in terms of kitchen tools, cleaning supplies, and general amenities. - The host was extremely responsive and kind. Every time we contacted them, they replied quickly and helpfully."
