"Leuke locatie echt eens wat anders. Mooi oud gebouw wat gerenoveerd wordt."

"Wat een prachtig gebouw, alsof je de Middeleeuwen binnenwandelt! De ontvangst was heel vriendelijk. De slaapkamers die opgeknapt waren, zagen er geweldig uit! De tuinen rondom het gebouw waren echt geweldig, met rijpe druiven en prachtige uitzichten. Leuk detail om te weten dat hier de wijn "Bourgeuill" zijn oorsprong vindt!"
"Er viel niets tegen. Het is wel duidelijk dat er nog meer opgeknapt moet worden in de gangen e.d., maar als dat net zo mooi wordt als de kamers, zal het een fantastisch verblijf worden!"

"Beatifully decorated room with a very comfortable bed in a historic building. Lovely continental breakfast. Fabienne was a great host. We had the opportunity to explore the abbey and extensive grounds in relative solitude."
"Our accomodation was tricky to locate; basically you have to enter the abbey as if you were visiting. This place is stunning architecturally and historically but would not be suitable accomodation for everyone because the abbey and its surroundings are undergoing renovation; although the accomodation is beautiful, other parts are a work in progress and externally the accomodation is relatively unlit in the evening so returning after a meal in the village requires a bit of care."
"What an exceptional establishment to stay in. An Abbot's Palace ffs. With a considerate and informative hostess. Also access to the garden and it's environs. Not 'conventionally' luxurious but everything that's required. Breakfast and coffee outside in the courtyard (large - remember this is an Abbot's Palace we're talking about here) just adds to the uniqueness. Then a tour around the accessable 14th century enormous chapel, with surreal animalistic/religious artwork. Truly accessable as the rooms were last occupied by retired nuns. Ramps on pretty much every threshold. And on-site produced Close de l'Abbaye Organic wine available in the office. Our stay was truly Heaven on Earth."

"Le côté exceptionnel du lieu, l’histoire et le côté atypique… une vraie expérience unique. La chambre est spacieuse, avec une salle de bain propre et fonctionnelle. Fabienne nous a bien conseillé sur les caves à visiter et nous a fait un petit cours d’histoire de ce lieu chargé d’histoire."
