"Het karakter van een oud frans familie hotel. De douche ruimte was klein maar ja oud hotel hè. Niet aan de rustige kant, doorgaande weg, maar luiken en dubbele glazen deuren. Het ontbijt was uitstekend. Lieve mensen!"

"Though I arrived late, on a wet and miserable night, (the weather was awful: torrential rain throughout a 8 hour drive from northern Spain), there was a warm welcome at Madelon IV, & the hostess went out of her way to make me feel welcome."

"Location and attached restaurant. Town was beautiful and everyone very friendly."

"The hosts were great. Nothing was too much trouble. They provided lots of local information about where to eat and what we could do in the area. The rooms were very large for France. The hotel had a friendly vibe and felt like the locals used it as their local as well as tourists. Nice breakfast - they asked us what we wanted and were happy to prepare eggs for us."

"Liked · The best thing about our stay at Madelon IV were not only the views but the treatwith the owners, who were very accesible and nice to talk to. Any sort of problem or doubt we had, you could reach them and have it solved. In addition, the town was beautiful."
"Disliked · Bathroom didn’t have a door, and every sound other hosts made, could be heard from other rooms. Our stay, besides that, was great."
"Friendly staff, lovely welcome, good communication before arrival, central quiet location, small balcony, delicious food in café, kettle in room"
"No door between bedroom and shower, shower cubicle door slightly broken"
"Personne exceptionnellement accueillante, disponible et à l'écoute. Chambre bien équipée et très propre. Calme absolu dans la chambre, une bonne nuit de récupération."

"Superb location. Spacious apartment. Loved Beaune."
"Great apartment, everything we expected. Brilliant facilities. Good location, however takes 10 minuets to walk to chair lift with ski gear."
"The location is excellent, perhaps even the best for getting to know Paris. The host is very friendly; he met us, gave us the keys, and provided instructions and useful advice. The apartment is very spacious, pleasant, and very clean. We enjoyed our stay."
"The one bedroom flat is super comfortable for 2 people, it is also big enough for up to 4 people. The flat is located maximum 10 min on foot from the center of les houches. We can take the train every 1h to chamonix for free with a carte d’hôte. Rental shop, gondola lift and the stop of bus line 1 are just in front of the building. A very good pizzeria is just on the ground floor in the same building. We can see the aiguille du midi from the small balcony."
