We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, and they indulged us with a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated and was so very nice of them to do so. "whilst the vast majority of the staff is impeccable, some (especially one gentlemen at the reception during the week end) lack the attention that would be expected. Also we had to wait three days for the shower heard to be fixed and had to ask three times said gentlemen to at least fix it with tape until a technician is available again. Finally over a couple of days, the swimming pool was invaded by a good number of small children who spent hours playing ball and screaming in the pool. It was extremely disturbing so that other clients left the area. It should be expected that the hotel enforces a number of rules and that the staff at least addresses the issue with the parents. I asked the same gentlemen at the reception to speak with the parents. His refused (or did not dare) to do so and his answer was "speak with the management on monday!!" I had to address the issue with the families. Not what a patron should have to do. Pity: these incidents made our stay less enjoyable."
