"Beautiful location in Charante wilderness but only ten minutes drive from the Roman town of Confolens. Breakfast included made excellent value for money."

"Perfect location - in deepest rural France. Charming welcome from inquisitive chickens - contented geese grazing near the lake. Sheep and deer in neighboring fields. Ideal breakfast to start the day."

"What a beautiful place! So peaceful and picturesque. I had a very quiet room with all the facilities I needed and the breakfast was very nice. The host kindly drove me to find my dinner since there was no local restaurant and I had arrived by bicycle, tired and not ready for a 7km round trip to eat. Much appreciated. There is also a very friendly cat."

"Ondanks late booking.com, toch een goede slaapplaats gevonden, dit met ontbijt. Hotel heeft ons nog opgebeld, daar er niemand 24/24 aanwezig was. Regeling vlot afgesproken."
Geert Montboulard
"Schoon, prima locatie, niet gehorig ondanks groot aantal appartementen."

"The host greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful. She showed us around our accommodation and also told us about the local area and gave us lots of leaflets, which helped us plan days out during our stay. Staying in the mobile home meant we had our own private terrace which was really nice, as we could keep ourselves to ourselves when dinning and relaxing. The children loved the pool and was the perfect size for our son who has only recently learnt to swim. The accommodation is in a good location for exploring lots in the local area."
Rachael Gîtes Le Bois Berranger
"Madame Annie is een hele lieve gastvrouw. Kamer is prima met een aparte douche en apart toilet. Ook is er een kast om koffer en kleding op te bergen. Ontbijt is heerlijk. Kortom, een aanrader!"
"Liging was rustig. Heel proper. Goed ontbijt met lekkere confituren en goeie koffie."
