Eka- Guesthouse in het Nubische dorp Gharb Sahel aan de westelijke oever van de Nijl, ligt tegenover de stad Aswan en kijkt uit over de Eerste Cataract. De accommodatie biedt suites met airconditioning. Alle logeerruimtes van Guesthouse Aswan zijn gezellig ingericht en hebben een tegelvloer. Elke kamer heeft een balkon met decor op de rivier, een zithoek, een kledingkast en een eigen badkamer. U kunt dineren in het culinaire wereld, waar 's ochtends een ochtendmaaltijdbuffet wordt geserveerd. Er is een 24-uursroomservice beschikbaar. Tegen een vergoeding kunt u in de tuin een barbecue houden of zich laten masseren. Via de excursiebalie kunt u uitstapjes in de omgeving reserveren. De 24-uursreceptie biedt op aanvraag wasserij-, stomerij- en strijkservice. De stad Aswan kan binnen 20 minuten bereikt worden per taxi of per boot. Een pendeldienst van/naar de luchthaven is op verzoek beschikbaar.

"A very clean, good smelling place with some Nubian design. Very, very friendly and helpful staff. You might be terrified by the outdoor surroundings as it's in a quite poor village, but you will be satisfied with the interior and service. Good communication & quick response by the staff."

"I don’t usually write reviews, but my friends and I were so touched by our stay that I had to share. Despite arriving late at night, we were warmly welcomed by the staff with a welcome drink — such kindness! The room was spotless, the air conditioning worked perfectly, water pressure and hot water were great, and everything was in top condition. The staff were incredibly friendly, and though we had to check out early, they thoughtfully packed us breakfast to-go. It was the best stay we had in Egypt — great value and an unforgettable experience. I’d love to come back next time I visit."

"Large communal areas outside all bedrooms meant lots of noise from thoughtless guests. Breakfast was typical Egyptian (eggs, fuul, and not great for European taste. Terrible roads outside the venue and taxi drivers struggled to find it."
"Great location in a colourful Nubian village where the locals are full of smiles and laughter. Beautiful, quiet roof terrace with views over the nile. Mr Ahmed and his team catered for our every request. Special thanks to Rowan who took us on a free tour of the village, including crocodile House, school and bazaar. She also checked in with us daily to ask if we were OK and in need of anything. I can highly recommend Ekodolli guest house."
