Drake Inn

"De locatie aan het strand, het dakterras en het ontbijt. Eva van de receptie was zeer vriendelijk en communicatief en zorgde er voor dat we om 05:00 een taxi hadden die stipt op tijd kwam om ons naar de haven te brengen. Ook was er een gemeenschappelijke mini bar waar je drankje uit kon halen die je later kon afreken. Erg handig als je in de avond nog iets op het dakterras wilde nuttigen."

"Helaas vonden wij de kamer te klein en met maar twee rugzakken was het toch wel krap. Dit geldt ook voor de badkamer waar je eerst in de douche moest stappen voordat je de deur dicht kon doen."

"Het hotel was een heel stuk duurder dan onze andere hotels op de Galapagos waardoor ik hogere verwachtingen had maar het gebodene en de kwaliteit was niet hoger, waardoor de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding slecht is. Prima goed en leuk hotel maar dus te duur. Detail maar de prijzen voor de beschikbare drankjes in de koelkast waren ook te hoog (hoger dan in restaurant) wat op totaal natuurlijk niks uitmaakt maar wat ik niet klantvriendelijk vind."

"Prijs-kwaliteit was 'slecht' omdat de hoge prijs niet stond in verhouding tot extra luxe of verzorging. Het was zeker een goed hotel maar dat hebben we elders op de Galapagos ook gehad tegen veel lagere kosten."

"The location is amazing! Right on the beach and has a stunning roof top terrace with panoramic views. Eva is a joy and provided a lovely welcome on arrival. Great to have a place to wash and dry clothes and appreciated being able to store luggage once checked out."

"excellent location and roof top terrace. good for relaxing and bird watching. Location is at the beautiful and quiet end of the beach, which was perfect for us. The town is very small and a very short walk to the main square, for us this was the best of both worlds. The room was very clean and comfortable, with reliable air-con which was much appreciated. Loved the rooftop jacuzzi bath. perfect place to relax after a trip. This alone makes Drake Inn incredible competitive in my opinion."

"We loved that breakfast was included. We stayed for 11 nights, which seems longer than most, but would have enjoyed a greater variation in breakfast selection. Maybe a couple of other cereals would be easy enough to manage. The building had Wifi throughout, but the connection in teh bedroom as quite slow. In the common areas the wifi was good. But would have been nice to enjoy air-con and wifi connection at the same time."

"The balcony on the top with the view of the beach. The lovely and helpful staff. The bed was comfortable and clean. The views from the balcony were stunning. The breakfast was great and there were drinks available near the rooms."
