"Onverwachts werd mijn partner ziek en moesten we uitwijken naar een hotel in Quito. We hadden geen beter hotel kunnen kiezen. De mensen die er werkten waren super aardig. Ze hebben geholpen om medicatie te vinden. Ook wisten ze echt alles over de omgeving en konden we via hen heerlijk eten bestellen. De kamer was schoon en groot. De bedden waren heel comfortabel. Ook was de badkamer netjes met een prettige douche. Het ziet er precies zo uit als de fotos. De buurt is bij het oude centrum en goed te bereiken met openbaar vervoer of een taxi. In een aantal reviews stond dat er harde muziek gedraaid werd. Dat viel erg mee, ook ging die op een redelijke tijd uit en s ochtends pas na 9u weer aan. Er waren weinig gasten dus het was stil. We hebben heerlijk geslapen. Echt een aanrader. Je kunt zelf de keuken gebruiken en er is gefilterd water aanwezig."

"We Loved Everything About Casa CarpeDM. Fernanda is Very Friendly and offers Excellent advice on Everything in Quito. She Organises tours at great prices. We hired a driver for the day to do the cable cars, the village in the Crater and the Amazing “INTINAN”The Middle of the World. Then whole day was 1/2 the price of other Tourists companies. Lucia keeps the place Spotless clean. The Hot water was plentiful just takes a while to get started. We had our Laundry done which was back the next day. She organised an airport taxi which was waiting outside. The place is safe and secure. Definitely the place to stay in Quito."

"The stalls on the street can be noisy but they don’t start till 9am and are packed away by 7pm. So not a problem at all."

"The staff is fantastic, with the owner who makes you feel home and is always willing to give you suggestions and to have a chat. The breakfast is delicious, the bed is comfy and the position is perfect. Obviously don't expect luxury but it's a very good value for money!"

"In spite of some negative publicity about travel safety in Ecuador, we travelled to several parts of the country and never felt unsafe. The location in the old town centre allows you to walk to all of the old city attractions. There are restaurants nearby to suit a variety of tastes. Our room was spacious, and we had very comfortable beds. There was plenty of hot water and excellent wi-fi coverage. There are great views from the rooftop dining area. Casacarpdm being in the old town is a great cultural experience. But the best feature of all is the host. Fernanda. She goes out of her way to make sure your stay is enjoyable and stress free. She organised a number of day trips for us at very good prices, with a safe driver and good guides, suggested good eateries for us, and helped set up our sim card. Unfortunately, we had to seek emergency medical attention, Fernanda gave up a whole day to take us there and provided translations and support for us. She is an absolutely amazing host."

"The best thing about the Hostal is Fher, our host. She did everything to make us comfortable and helped Is with all our questions, tours etc. Further, our room was oké, clean, but a bit on the small side. Matras was good."

"It was really noisy. Not from the inside, but from outside. I know that the hostal can not help this, but we had to sleep with earplugs."
