"Fijn hotel met verwarming op de kamer voor als het 's avonds koud wordt. Om de hoek bij de hoofdstraat van het dorp met allerlei gezellige plekken. De lokatie zelf is heel rustig. Fijn zwembadje en ligbedden voor na de dagtrips."

"Guests must inform front desk what time they want breakfast the day before, which was not initially explained at check in. Shower took a long time to get warm, but we are supposed to be saving water because it’s in a desert."

"Many thanks to (I believe) Sevka who let me change my room from cottage to regular room. The cottages had quite some noise until after midnight due to music from neighboring restaurants. The regular rooms however are nice and quiet."

"Cottages can be very noisy - go for a room instead! Pool is pretty cold. Refreshing for a dip, but too cold to swim. The rooms have air conditioning, but you cannot change the settings yourself. Help arrives quickly but good to know you have to ask! Overall, I think the price is too high for what you get compared to other places but it is not a bad stay."

"First of all the staff which did go above and beyond to help in all kinds of matters. The location was central but secluded, one could enjoy a leisurely afternoon by the pool or the own little veranda."

"The reception staff were helpful and gave us suggestions of tour companies to use (we chose Atacama Magic👍). We didn’t actually have breakfast in the hotel due to early starts of the tours. However, they kindly provided us with breakfast packs to take with us - even at 5am! The room was comfortable and shower was good. I didn’t actually realise they had a business providing massages, etc until it was too late. They have a couple of pools. The restaurant looked good but we didn’t manage to eat there. However sitting in the pool area with a glass of wine in the evening was very pleasant. They kindly fill up your water bottle with filtered water. You check in through a QR code which seemed a bit manic at the time as there were quite a few travellers doing it at the same time. It made the start of the stay a bit impersonal but it did away with queuing to check in so it’s probably a positive. Great situation, close to the main street."

"A small thing - for ageing eyes the main light in the room is a bit dim. We only had one set of keys. The bungalows are across the road in a separate locked area. This meant we couldn’t go out separately as only one of us would have keys to get in and there was no way to alert someone in the room. We weren’t really there long enough for it to be a major problem and I didn’t ask if we could have a double set of keys."

"We could hear a lot of noise at night from the local bar playing live music. Not so bad that we couldn’t sleep but if you were a really light sleeper it may be tricky"

"Excellent location. In the heart of town. Room was large and clean. Staff was responsive and helpful. They gave us an extra hour at the time of check out as we had a tour that morning."

"The packed breakfast could be a little better. Also rooms on the opposite side of the road to the reception should have better access to water facilities and perhaps a kettle in the room."

"Staff were lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Room was comfortable. Location was excellent, right on the main street so convenient for getting around. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller. I stayed in the "poblado" individual cabins which was so nice to have my own little outdoor space and in a beautiful peaceful orchard"
