Cabañas Moai

"Host en Locatie! Zodra je hier toekomt zorgt Rene ervoor dat je je welkom voelt. De locatie is super. Het uitzicht is waauw! Dit eiland is magisch en Rene zorgt ervoor met het antwoord op de vele vragen die we hadden dat het een fantastisch verblijf was. Iorana Rene! Je bent geweldig en Cabana Moai inn is een echte aanrader!"

"Wifi maar dat is een probleem op heel het eiland en kan de host niet echt iets aan doen. Ik raad aan om een portable wifi mee te nemen."

"It was a lovely location, with a lovely host. We kept the key in the door, and didn't lock up once, so this area and place is super safe. The cabana was comfortable, and had everything we needed. We didn't rent a car, but the stores, restaurants, beach, etc., are all really close. Rene showed us a back trail from our cabana, which was a short walk to the beach. We used this trail daily to go in and out, eat, shop, etc."

"Rene was a perfect host. He met us at the airport and could not have been more welcoming. The property is in a quiet location about 20 minutes walk into town. I loved that we could see the sea and a prominent Moai from the verandah as well as one in the garden. There were lots of chickens and their tiny chicks running about the garden. We ate out each evening but there were all the facilities for doing more should we have wanted to. Excellent shower with copious hot water. It was a perfect place for 3 nights."

"Where to start? The kindness of the host, the perfect location, the moaï in the garden or the peacefulness of this authentic Rapa Nui Cabaña ?.... Everything was perfect ! We stayed there 6 nights and didn't want to leave. Located 5mn away by walk from the beautiful Tahai moaï and only 20mn walk by the coast to reach the center of Hanga Roa. Māururu René, we will be back!"

"Rene kindly brought us from /to the airport in his car and treated us with gorgeous garlands. He patiently showed us around and helped with information about the places and culture of the island. In the kitchen we found enough to get us started plus lovely fruit in a bowl covered with a fresh hibiscus flower. The terrace had a hammock from which we could see a glimpse of the sea among the trees, and from the garden we could see the top hat of the eyed-Moai and receive visits from the local chickens. We loved the traditional and quirky wooden decor of the bungalow that enhanced the peaceful Rapa Nui experience in addition to the amazing location so close to the Tahai Moai, which are extraordinary at sunset."

"Not a lot, perhaps the shower could do with a bit of a re-fresher."

"The cabins are in a beautiful location, just a few minutes walk from some Moai where you can watch sunset. The cabin was very large and equiped with everything we needed. We really liked the style of it, and the bed was very comfortable. Rene was a great host, very friendly. He picked us up and dropped us off at the airport."

"The property is located a walking distance from the sea, with lots of places to eat not far away. It is a very lovely facility, quiet, and beautiful. Our host was absolutely fabulous as he helped us with car rental, and recommended the very best guide for our tour of the island. To add, the welcome at the airport was truly a lovely touch. Honestly you won’t meet better people."

"Rene was a fantastic host He both picked us up and returned us to the airport Drove us around Hanga Roa for over half an hour to get National Park passes and get cash at an ATM He arranged for us to rent a car and even was willing to guide us to The Moai although that was not expected"

"The upstairs loft had very steep ladder stairs If one has to get up in the night it’s inconvenient"
