"De kamer 4de verdieping boven in met vol zicht op de Matterhorn, Bedden super, bad en douche heerlijk, ontbijt vers en lekker en zelfs de koffie top. En de locatie is echt perfect. Mooie appres ski buiten voor de deur met normale prijzen voor de drank. Direct tegenover de Sunnega lift en 400 meter verderop de instap van de cornergrat en station Zermatt / centrum."

"Erg fijn en comfortabel hotel, op 10 min. lopen vanaf Zermatt Bahnhof. De kamer (met balkon, uitzicht op de beek) was met houten, sfeervolle meubels ingericht en de bedden waren heerlijk. Er was een ruime, keurig-nette badkamer met ligbad/douche. Alles was brandschoon. Het personeel was vriendelijk en betrokken, gaf tips over wandelingen en het weer. Het ontbijt was geweldig! kleinschalig, maar enorm veel keuze en kwalitatief erg goede producten: genoten!"

"The location and the friendly welcome is the best thing about this hotel. The rooms are old fashioned but very clean and comfortable. The stubli bar has a great atmosphere. Breakfast is very good. The view of the Matterhorn from our room/balcony was a special treat."

"There is no lift (and I think would be impossible to put one in). The team are happy to help with luggage so this is not a problem as long as you ask for help. Not suitable for anyone with limited mobility. The en-suite bathroom in our room has a shower over the bath which may need to be redesigned as it was difficult to use."

"Nestled in a perfect location, with a quiet Alpine charm that made us feel instantly at home. What touched us most, was the genuine warmth of the staff — kind, attentive, and truly caring. I had accidentally left behind a small teddy bear with deep sentimental value, and to my surprise, they went out of their way to send it all the way to Romania by post. It was a beautiful gesture of kindness that spoke volumes about the people behind the place."

"the hotel is really near the main railway station and just one-step beside the cable station up to the matterhorn. So, if one wanna go for the 5-lakes hiking trail, the hotel is really valuable for stay. Also, the mountain rail station to go for Gornergrat is nearby. And about the room, it's warm and lovely, with the unexpected large size which I believe far more than enough to arrange ski equipments with. And the balcony offering a straight view to the matterhorn, beautiful to shoot the peak at dawn and sunrise."

"all good, if one thing could be better, that would be the location. The whole building was not very tall and built all flat based, so even with a mountain view balcony, there is another big house in front of the view which covered half of the peak. I believe those resorts on the half-hill may have the better sight. But, it's still great to having cup of drink at night, watching the matterhorn peak and enjoying the peace at the balcony."
