Sattva Land

"Ons ' house in the garden' bestond uit 4 aparte houten gebouwen, slaapkamer, keuken, eetkamer, badkamer en wc, zodat je maximaal contact krijgt met de omringende pracht van exotische bloemen en planten en vogels. Een colobri zweefde voor ons raam! De inrichting van deze kamers zijn bovendien erg smaakvol en origineel. Er is een mooie grote zwemvijver. Het eten is supergezond en lekker. Er wordt veel belang gehecht aan ecologie en leven in harmonie. De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn warme mensen , die er alles aan doen om er een onvergetelijk verblijf van te maken."

"Sam ensured that he contacted us by text so we would reach the property without difficulties. The last leg to Sattva Land could do with a bit of work as it was a bit tricky. Glad that it did not rain as this would have been a bit challenging being in the rainforest. I would not hesitate to visit again with my family as the surroundings was tranquil, beautiful, clean, and the rooms were fabulous. Sam was lovely and easy to talk to and he did his best to make our stay a wonderful experience."

"Beautifully designed, bargain price for the amenities. A verdant garden of eden. Very cool how each aspect of living: kitchen, sleeping quarters, bathroom, etc were spaced out. The family brought us fresh eggs in the morning for breakfast. Very friendly and wonderful hosts. Hopefully they keep this price, because they could charge wayyy more. One of the most beautiful places I have stayed... Just the landscaping and organic design, just was amazing, I wish I could post my walk through video here."

"It is primarily a yoga center as the name implies. We heard the very friendly, long haired hosts playing music and I'm sure dancing into the night in another building. It seemed like they were having a blast and we didn't mind. Because the windows are open for cooling, sound carried, not a big deal with foam earplugs but if you are a light sleeper (or need to pee a lot in the night as the bathroom is around 100ft away) maybe not the best place for you. Also suv or 4wd recommended to get to the compound/resort as it it a half mild of bumpy dirt road."

"Sattva Land It is a sacred land ,beautiful place with a natural pool and modern design villas,The breakfast and dinner are healthy diet and delicious,banana and papaya ,coconut are sweet!They have food supplies from the minonites they also build a school program for their children, the spiritual dancing tutor Flora is also a talented villa designer!They’re happy families and friends living and build this land together !Fabulous living and dining experiences with Sam manager,his wife Julia,and their family members!"

"Apartments are comfortable, out of main road (four wheel car is advantage) inside forest. If u looking for accommodation with little alternative approach and concern on suitability and ecology, will be perfect for u. If necessary for u AC, pool with filtered water and other modern like features, think twice. What is very nice is garden with ocasionaly humingbirds, position in middle of Belize for trips, nature around, night with great stars view etc., this is perfect place…"

"By chance we found this jungle gem tucked away on hummingbird highway. This peaceful family-run retreat centre is one of a kind, the hosts are incredibly friendly, food is lovely and the attention to detail is exceptional. We only had a short stay, but enjoyed the lush surrounding nature, the jungle trail and the relaxing natural pool. There is a great variety of programs on offer, including meditation and yoga if you're staying longer in this tropical paradise. Highly recommended!!"

"Our particular unit didn’t have a kitchen, but they had a wonderful shared kitchen that we cooked meals in. They even had a cute screened in dining room that you could eat in. There also were restaurants close by."

This energy of effervescencing human goodness permeates every aspect of the beauty of Sattva Land from the excellent accommodation, to the bathroom facilities, grounds, food and recreational spaces. All beautiful designed and prepared to exceptionally high standards. My daughter and I delighted in the natural swimming pool, giggled through trails of natural beauty as the joy of the forest rushes the heart. I can fault nothing of the food, accomodation, service. I want only to tell you to go and go quickly for it is a gift to experience and carry with you when it’s time to leave. Thank you to all who made our stay so memorable and precious to me and very grateful 12 year old. We love you! Jada & Sofija"
