"De helft van de badkamers hebben geen raam en zitten daardoor vol met schimmel, de douche werd enkele minuten warm. Of het bed een voor of nadeel is, is persoonlijk, maar het traagschuim creëerde een flinke kuil."

"De mensen die het hostal runnen zijn echt super vriendelijk! Ik kwam vroeg aan en er werd me ontbijt aangeboden, ook was m’n kamer al vroeg gereed. Het bed is zo ongeveer het fijnste bed waar ik in Bolivia heb in gelegen! De binnenplaats is prachtig en ze bieden goede tours aan."

"Big rooms, clean! It was possible to check-in in the middle of the night after arriving with the night bus at 3am!"

"People arriving after midnight and talking loudly for 20 minutes. Since the rooms are all located around the inner courtyard, one was compelled to listen."

"Lovely staff and breakfast! Courtyard space was very nice. Toilet shower combo smelt a bit musty always and wafted into the room but couldn’t work out where it came from. Luckily the window could be opened to let a breeze in and make it more comfortable. Good location. Would love to come back and do the horse riding tours offered by the hostel"

"The hotel has a friendly staff and an excellent location. The rooms are comfortable and arranged around a courtyard filled with plants. One minor issue is that many rooms don't get much sunlight, which would be nice in summer but make them chilly in winter. They did provide me with a portable heater, so everything was fine. There are four rooms with shared bathrooms, and one room is without a window. You can view the available rooms beforehand. I stayed for four nights and also used their tour agency, which partners with Torre next door during low occupancy periods. I would recommend 100%"

"Very clean, centrally located. The hosts were so flexible with checking in early, which was amazing after a night bus from La Paz! They were very considerate, kind and accommodating. Seeking to make it extra comfortable for us and our toddler. Breakfast was plentiful and very nice. Highly recommended. Ps: they offer tours too but, sadly, we had already booked elsewhere."

"Very helpful and friendly staff, accommodated us leaving very early. Clear information eg, where to change money etc. Excellent trip on horses to the Canyon, arranged by the staff, and with a discount for guests. Great location for the terminal de buses and the centre of town. Beautiful shaded courtyard garden, perfect to relax in."
