Beach View Hotel

"De locatie was perfect, recht tegenover het strand. Vanuit mijn kamer met ocean view en ruim balkon heb ik de mooiste zonsondergangen ooit gezien. De kamers zijn mooi, schoon en soundproof. Er is weliswaar verkeer tussen het hotel en het strand maar zodra de balkondeuren dicht zijn hoor je niets meer. Er is voldoende gratis parkeerruimte. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk (thanks Marissa and Oral) en de eigenaar en zijn vrouw zijn superaardig. Ik heb heel veel gereisd en heb in heel veel hotels overnacht maar heb nog nooit een hotel eigenaar ontmoet die al zijn hotelgasten bij hem thuis uitnodigt voor een drankje en een hapje. Omdat ik dit keer alleen, zonder mijn man, reisde heb ik zo de andere hotelgasten leren kennen en maakten we ook daarna nog een praatje als we elkaar op het terrein tegenkwamen. Dit hotel raad ik iedereen aan en ik kom absoluut snel terug."

"Only one down side worth mentioning and that’s the length of time it takes to get food at the Sugar Apple Cafe! It’s a lovely place and the food is good but the food wait time is absolutely crazy!! Also not having a separate lunch menu isn’t great. The lunch and dinner menu are the same but I good they will improve this and provide a separate and different lunch menu and also sort out the food times. Apart from this the place is more or less perfect!!"

"Initially we were placed in a ground floor, three bedroomed apartment with no balcony. We were very disappointed to be placed in such a dark apartment with no balcony and right on the main busy road. After approaching the owner, Robin, he said he would try to sort it out. Within an hour he informed us we would be moving to an apartment with a balcony. We ended up in a beautiful, bright apartment with a big balcony overlooking the sea. Our wonderful holiday started at that point. Thanks to Robin and his daughter."

"We stayed in a lovely spacious 1 bedroom suite. Great facilities and lovely staff."

"Check was not done by reception staff. We arrived by 6pm and were just taken from the taxi to a suite which was not suitable and noisy. We had to wait until the morning to be moved. This was then dealt with very well and we were moved into a lovely suite."

"The customer service was a tad strange. We checked in and nobody showed us the way to our room. We were just sent to “the first building”. It’s okay. The room totally made up for this."
