"Prachtig klassiek gebouw met binnentuin, ruime vertrekken en zeer vriendelijk personeel. En voor een heel schappelijke prijs, we waren er maar een nacht maar is eigenlijk meer geschikt voor een langer verblijf, het is echt een thuis."

"Alles! Het was in een woord WAUW! De gastvrijheid, de prachtige suite, de oase van rust in een drukke stad. Echt heel bijzonder."

"Het hotel is rustig gelegen, authentiek gerestaureerd en elke kamer is heel mooi en smaakvol ingericht. Goede bedden en beddengoed. Elke kamer is voorzien van een goedwerkende airco. De kamers waren kraaknet, bedden werden dagelijks opgemaakt. Ook een heel mooie badkamer van alles voorzien. Gezellige groene binnenkoer. Goede en uitgebreid busnetwerk om de hoek. Zowel gastheer Pablo als het personeel was heel gastvrij en super vriendelijk!"

"Het grootste minpunt zijn de foto's en aangeprezen zwembad op het dakterras dat helaas niet toegankelijk was wegens herstel, maar dat bij booking niet gecommuniceerd werd. Het hotel niet zelfstandig kunnen betreden en verlaten. Het sobere eenzijdig ontbijt dat bestond uit toast, croissant, koffie/the en vers geperst sinaasappelsap. Het ontbreken van tools in de persoonlijke keuken."

"The apartment location was out of the main center in an outer suburb. However that said the metro was close by and Ubers were quite inexpensive so we got around ok."

"This hotel is a quiet, elegant oasis moments from downtown Buenos Aires in an area that has a real neighborhood feel with local bakeries, plazas and sports clubs nearby. I visit the city regularly for work and decided to book somewhere special as a weekend get away. Casa Umare exceeded all expectations. Of the accommodation options on offer in Argentina's capital it was also among the more affordable for the size of the room-apartment. Highlights include a private patio to enjoy breakfast, lush landscaping around the property and knowledgeable attentive staff."

"An amazing, well maintained historical building with a patio. Perhaps not located in the very center of all things touristy, but it is in a very nice, well connected neighbourhood with nice bars and restaurants in a walking distance. Great staff, always ready to help and have a chat."

The staff was always kind and made sure you entered your cab before closing the hotel doors. The casual conversations made it even more special and feel at home in Buenos Aires.
