"The two hosts of the Appartement Hotel are very accommodating and helpful! The location is great, the roof terrace wonderful. We didn't get the apartment which first booked, but two at no extra charge. At first I was skeptical about the change, but the two hosts communicated this honestly and transparently."

We had two apartments, one was quiet, the other had the windows on the side with various bars, this was a bit noisy. It should be noted that this is a busy old and nice town area.

Jammer dat er geen tuin bij zit, maar als je veel weg bent mis je het weinig

"Mooi ruim appartement. Heerlijk boven de spar, hier kan je alles kopen. Verse broodjes aan de deur. Koffie apparaat met bonen en filter. Echt aan alles is gedacht."

Beide toiletten in badkamers.

"Mooi schoon app. Met prachtig terras en uitzicht op haven. Dichtbij klein strandje, prima. Uiteindelijk zijn we naar Goverments Beach gegaan 15 min rijden. Heel mooi. Airco erg goed."

Dorpje beetje saai. Paar restaurants. Wilde 1x zelf simpel koken was er maar 1 pan en een kleine koekenpan. Lastig. Bed erg klein jammer. En de slaapkamer was niet goed te verduisteren waardoor ik vroeg wakker wordt.

"We liked everything! This can not be described by words. One must come and see the exceptionally beautiful nature of Mariovo, this village Zovich and the nearby village Staravina. The accomodation offered everything we needed, the host Mitko, his wife and mother were very friendly and helpful, they make extraordinary food in their restaurant, all fresh and of high quality. We will be back again!"

"On arrival 'Grandad' greeted us with a smile and a cup of 'ginger tea' 😊 The location is peaceful and on the edge of the forest. Only 15mins walking to seven eleven, shops, etc. The room was comfy and clean. Good value too. Bed was super comfy soft to firm! Easy to safely store our bicycles 🚴🚴 A great place to visit and Grandad may also show you around his collection of antiques. HIGHLY recommended 👌"

"Very nice hotel, it was very clean and comfortable. The tiny balcony was a plus for me and the people where so nice and friendly."

The location was not perfect for me, I ended up renting a scooter which I highly recommend.

There was no local stores near by, it can look a little remote especially at night.

Enige is het ontbreken van een koffieapparaat en kurkentrekker (verder is alles er) - bed is aan de korrelachtig voor personen van 2 meter

"It was close to the airport. Collection of the keys was easy. Good communications with the host. Easy parking. Comfortable place."

The single bed was not comfortable (on one side I was feeling that I was sinking). The A/C wasn't working because the remote control was missing. I contacted the host, he said that he will take care of it, but he did not. To be honest, it wasn't so hot and for most days I did not need the A/C. However, for the last few days of my stay I could really use the A/C, especially at night. The shared fridge could be cleaner. The bathroom did not have a window, it only had a kind of fan on the ceiling which did not work particularly well. As a result, some unpleasant odors persisted and the waters caused by showering could not evaporate very quickly.

"The accommodation is a little out of the way, but is an absolute winner in terms of price-performance ratio. There is nothing missing. About a 25 minute walk to a well-stocked supermarket and the top restaurant Papa Figo. To the beach, turn left and go straight on. There is also a bank branch with an ATM on the way."

"Staying at Shangri-la gave us experience in the homey environment. Staffs were very helpful and kind. We put this place as the first choice if we go back to Yangon again. Thank for fulfilling our fond memories."
