"Je zit midden in het dorpse leven. Het is er super rustig en je hebt een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Het is een paar minuten lopen naar het klooster. Goede uitvalsbasis om kloosters te bezoeken en te wandelen. We werden erg gastvrij en warm ontvangen."

"Mary and her family were the kindest and most welcoming hosts we could wish for. Right upon our arrival they offered us tea and refreshments and gave us various tips on what to see in the area.Their homemade dinners and breakfasts (served at a terrace with wonderful views) are huge and simply delicious, absolutely perfect after a whole day spent in the mountains around Haghpat. The room itself is very light and spacious, located in a house in the middle of a rural vegetable garden a few hundred meters from the monastery. In spite of our very poor knowledge of Russian, Mary's parents were always very friendly and open to talk with and fully accommodated all our wishes. We'll be very happy to come again if ever back in Armenia. Thank you! <3"
