"As it was out of season we had the whole place to ourselves. But we would equally have enjoyed it if other families were sharing the facilities. Rained our whole time spent there but we made use of the BBQ area as it was still warm with the fire. Food left us every morning was lovely and plentiful. Lady who came daily was lovely. We particularly love the location for its peace and tranquility but also very near our family members who live in the area."

"There was nothing to dislike . All good. Definitely enjoy more of the facilities of the place in warmer weather ."

"A beautiful and tranquil place to stay. Facilities and the swimming pool were excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and adequate parking for for motorbike."

"An incredibly nice rural location with a large house (and additional rooms annexed) at the end of a track . The room was spacious with high spec facilities. The added bonus being the pool. There was an indoor and outdoor kitchen, where you could cook your own food or dine at the restaurant / bar on the main site. This served great food so there was no need to leave the site."

"Make sure you contact the hotel about 30 minutes before arriving as the residence is not manned, but they have a sister hotel about 15-20 minutes away and the owners would travel between the two."

"Breakfast was delivered at about 8.30am and had a good assortment of pastries, bread, cheese and ham. The property is in a quiet location, the rooms are tastefully decorated and the common areas are well appointed and full of all equipment that you are likely to require."

"Finding the property was a bit difficult to work out as satnav takes you to the restaurant (which is fabulous)function venue which is not the hotel, the hotel is a bit further up a good condition farm track"

"No me gustó que la bañera de hidromasaje no funcionara. Aunque cuando lo comuniqué me dijeron que iría una persona parra ayudarme en hacerla funcionar o solucionar el problema. Pero finalmente decidí continuar mi viaje a Castelo Branco y la reserva que hice para mi segundo día amablemente me la cancelaron sin penalización y me devolvieron el dinero. Portugal y los portugueses son siempre tan amables y acogedores. Por eso siempre decidó ir a Portugal en mis viajes porque enamora porque te sientes mejor que en casa. En Portugal está mi corazón aunque sea española no siento España en el corazón , pero sí Portugal."
