"The fold put bed/sofa was AWFUL. If you updated itto something that didn't creak at 100 decibels every time you moved and collapsed in the center making it almost impossible to sleep on (we actually ended up sleeping on some camp stretchers it was that bad)!!!! If not for that it was a 10 out of 10."
"Leigh Central is very well appointed, including dishwasher and very comfortable. Access was via a code sent in advance, which worked well. There was no so staff available, however, that was not an issue since there were plenty of clear instructions. There is a shop next door and a petrol station. We cooked our evening meal since there were few local restaurants open. We very much enjoyed our stay."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
