"Mooi appartement net buiten het leuke stadje Omodos. Heerlijk verkoelend zwembad waar we van genoten hebben in het hete weer. Gastvrije eigenaar die je wegwijs maakt in het huis en bij vragen klaar staat. Fijn dat er naast gewone handdoeken ook zwemhanddoeken waren. Kortom, prima verblijf gehad!"

"In de beschrijving staat niet dat het gaat om de begane grond van de villa en dat er ook bewoners boven zijn. Er staat dat er geen buren zijn, wat suggereert dat je het verblijf voor jezelf hebt. Geen probleem of tegenvaller maar wel goed om te weten"

"De rust, de privacy. 2 slaapkamers, ruime woonkamer met nette keuken voorzien van alle voorzieningen. Magnetron, waterkoker, koffiezet apparaat, koelkast met vriezer, gasfornuis, oven enz enz Zwembad was super er lagen zelfs handdoeken voor bij t zwembad. Super vriendelijke eigenaar"

"The location was absolutely amazing, with the most breathtaking mountain views. Our host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We truly enjoyed the peaceful, quiet atmosphere—it was the perfect place to relax and unwind."

"Amazing place in a great spot, just 2 minutes from the village but in a very quiet area. Mr. Philippos is a very nice man, ready to help in all requests. Also I have a small dog and I was worried about his safety but its 100% safe with high gates all around the house. Thank you very much Mr. Philippos we will surely be back!"

First and foremost Philippos is great , made us very comfortable and answered all our questions and came several times to make our stay better The property is beautiful with spectacular views , very comfortable, huge outside area perfect for our pups who had the best time! The bed was also super comfortable with warm sheets and all the rooms were very clean . Philippos helped us with the fireplace which made our experience even more enjoyable."

"Softades Cottage is beautifully located in the foothills of Troodos Mountains, just above the beautiful village of Omodos. It is quiet, tranquil with stunning views. The cottage itself is well equipped and was spotlessly clean (and cleaned every week). We lived in the outside pool area which was lovely and had a good covered area, essential shade. Filliposs and his team could not have been kinder and more welcoming. Anything we needed was accommodated, and more. He does live above the cottage but nevertheless it is absolutely private. The aircon in the bedrooms was also very good and made a big difference in the incredibly hot days to get a cooler night. IF you are looking for peace and quiet in truly beautiful surroundings this is the place for you."

"We would have liked a washing machine do do our own washing. I will stress this was dealt with for us by the host. The second bedroom has no windows, BUT this really did not make any difference as we only slept there. The cottage is about 40 mins from Paphos airport and one and a quarter hours from Larnaca. Being in the mountains it is remote so you do need to have a car, even just for groceries. There are small supermarkets locally and a large alpha Mega within 20 mins or so drive. This was fine for us and to be expected but not suitable for those who do not wish to drive. NB Cyprus has right hand cars and drives on left hand side of the road."

"The view of Mount Olympus from the terrace and pool is fantastic. It is absolutely quiet - at night you hear absolutely nothing except the sounds of nature. We didn't have any annoying insects on the terrace - the swallows living close by seem to take care of them. ;o) Philippos is a great host. He spends all day at his taverna, which is a two-minute drive away, but is always available there."
