"Prachtige Lodge in de natuur. Staat op een eiland. Vanaf de parkeerplaats vast keer met een boot naar de Lodge. Tijdens het diner hadden we spelende nijlpaarden voor ons. Prachtig!"

"Fantastische locatie, fantastische staff, wij hadden Fly als gids tijdens onze wandelsafari en river cruise. Hij had veel leuke verhalen, we hebben veel krokodillen, nijlpaarden en mooie vogels gespot en hij voelde heel goed aan wat we leuk vonden. Echt een aanrader."

"Prachtige omgeving, met de boot wordt je naar de lodge gebracht. Het team staat continu voor je klaar om je een geweldig verblijf te geven. Management ging zelfs heel ver in de service om ons te helpen met vinden van een goede medische behandeling. De boottocht in de Okavango delta is geweldig, eten is erg goed, prachtige tuin. Kortom toplocatie met een hele dikke 10."

"Everything! Incredible location, amazing staff, really tasty food, a fantastic guide in Fly and a superb room. We were the only guests staying and we could not have been looked after better! Each evening they set up a table for us with the best views of the Okavango Delta sunset. We were genuinely sad to leave. Xaro Lodge is so perfect that it made the other accommodation we stayed at in Southern Africa seem rather ordinary."

"The lodge is located directly on the Okavango River. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food and chef were excellent. Our suite was very spacious, very clean, and accessible via a long jetty. Our guide, Fly, was particularly knowledgeable about the diverse bird and animal life. We enjoyed romantic dinners in nature with a view over the river."

"Absolutely everything. Scott and Casey were very caring hosts, the staff super friendly and efficient, exceptional meals. Tha chalets positioned overlooking the river. The morning walk with Thomas the guide was fascinating, excellent birder. Saw 3 Pells fishing owls. Met all expectations of what a lodge on the Okavango should be."

"Idyllic lodge at the Okavango river, superb location, great variety of birds to watch including the Pels fishing owl! We had a fantastic relaxing stay at Xaro and enjoyed the river cruises with our guide enormously. Thank you so much for this unforgettable stay!"

"The host was amazing and very friendly, he even went out of his way to come look for us as we were getting lost and we didn't have network. The host communicated very well with us from when we made our booking until our arrival. They provided us with everything we needed even things we didn't expect since it was self-catering. The wifi coverage is amazing and from myself and my friends we will definitely come back and recommend your place anytime."
