Aral Hostel

"Het verblijf in hostel Aral is zeer aangenaam. Het ziet er keurig uit en het is schoon. Bij aankomst liggen er 2 handdoeken op je bed met shampoo/douchegel. De airconditioning en de WiFi werken goed. Evenals alle andere voorzieningen. Op de slaapkamer staat een kleine koelkast en het bed ligt lekker. De lakens waren schoon en roken zelfs naar wasmiddel. De eigenaar en zijn gezin zijn erg vriendelijk. En ze helpen je als je vragen hebt. Ik heb zelfs in de avond Engelse thee met ze gedronken, een wandeling gemaakt en een ijsje gegeten. Daarnaast ligt het verblijf op 2 minuten lopen vanaf het busstation en je kunt eenvoudig met de public bus naar het centrum. En de eigenaar blijft steeds dingen toevoegen om het verblijf nog beter te maken. Kortom een echte aanrader om hier te overnachten. Bedankt voor jullie vriendelijkheid en goede zorgen!!"

"Great location right by the bus terminal. Clean, easy-to-check-in and out. The staff/owner was very helpful (helped me with the bus next morning, actually he turn out to be the driver himself). Great value. Would stay again."

"The room was modern, beds stable - I had someone on the top bunk and couldn’t feel the movement that much. The shower and bathroom in the room was great. The guy who owns/runs the place was nice."

"Only thing was the light coming through the glass door would disturb your sleep but easily solved if you have an eye mask or something to put over your face. Keep in mind it’s a bit of a walk from the main town but super close to the bus station which I preferred."

"Hostel is near to the bus center, but about 1.5km away from the center of the city. But I turned this into an advantage and walked this way when the weather was good. I blended more with locals, and had a chance to get much better prices along this route (like 2 euros for a haircut and shave all together) Beside this, owner was friendly. When I visited he had to be somewhere else, but still managed to help me when I had a question. I stayed 2 nights, and rooms weren’t full. So I had a experience of an hotel for a really cheap price. There is a private toilet in rooms and there is also a big one which is spacious so you can take a long shower and relax."

"As a solo tourist, I chose to stay at this hostel, a 5-minute walk from the Berat terminal. There is an internal bus to the promenade and the city center. The hostel facilities are clean and comfortable In a quiet area. I felt safe. The owners were kind enough to allow me a late check out to make the most of my stay in the city. I got a room with a shower in it. Everything was perfect."

"Great hostel to stay at. 20 min walk from the city center, but close to castle and bus station. The man who worked here was extremely kind, and the bed and bathroom were very nice."

"5 stars warmly hostel! The hostel is brand-new with everything so clean and nice. Host Ervis is super nice and offer all the help you need and you can easily reach him by WhatsApp ( his contact from booking.com). Service: I am coming on a national holiday in Albania and also with a rainy season, Ervis and his family warmed me up and welcome me to their gathering. I had a great time with them and also feel how friendly Albanian are. Facilities : first time for me to see a private fridge in a dorm and this is luxurious. Theres also some hanging rack , hair dryer and rainforest shower in the en-suites big bathroom, which is so bridge and clean. There are also many space for you to put luggage in the room. Location: just 100m next to the bus terminal which is very accessible to reach the transport to / from other city. You can also ask our host to book the bus for you :) Theres also a city bus going to / from city centre of Berat city every 15 mins"

"Very close to the bus station, so very handy for my early morning trip. Very new place. Shower with hot water in 2 seconds (literally). Everything works well. It's exactly how it looks in the pictures. Towels and toiletries included. Quiet area. Comfy bed."
